Dixie Freeze

The people who work here and the service are amazing. The food is also great. I wasn’t sure about the cranberry sauce being on top of my chicken and dressing, but it was really good. Also, inflation has not hit the Dixie Freeze. For a second I thought the bill for three of us was actually for one person. A must stop for good local food served by great people.

The two waitresses were super nice.. the atmosphere was laid back (just the way i like it)…the beef on my burger was hot and my lettuce was cold!!!…and that vanilla milkshake was wonderfully thick ( my eyes crossed and the back of my head caved in😜🤣)…a truly sweet experience.. thank you, Dixie Freeze🥰

$16 for 1 drink, 2 (absolute perfectly done, great crispy, and big) CORN DOGS, 1 (filling, mouthwatering and Really GOOD) BURGER and 1(crispy, crunchy and soft) TATER TOTS.
What more can you ask for? 12/10

Dixie Freeze is the gem of South Pittsburgh, TN. Whether it's the extra large, juicy, all beef burger, the delicious grilled canjun chicken sandwich, or the creamy, sweet malt shake, Dixie Freeze delivers a delightful punch to my ravenous appetite.

Go there often just for the ice-cream. Food isn't bad either

Old School diner that looks like it has been there since the 1950s walked up and ordered a giant burger all the way with fries. They make the food to order. The burger patty was handmade and delicious! Fresh thick slice of tomato, lettuce and onion. The fries were also fresh and delicious. Don't miss this place if you come to Pittsburg for the Lodge outlet!!

Went in today for the first time and gave it a shot on lunch break. Got a regular burger and some tots, chocolate milk shake and a sweet tea. Food was great, milkshake was made perfect. Will definitely be back.

Always a great experience at Dixie Freeze. Excellent food choices and great dessert selection. I love the old school walk-up window. This is a great choice for a quick burger or a family sit-down dinner.

I love little restaurants like this. This place is great rustic and quiet no music or blaring tv. The place only had a few tables open when we arrived and everyone looked like they were enjoying the food and each others company. We ordered southwestern burger with fries and the dixie dagwood with tots. Burgers were amazing and the tots were perfect. I wanted a banana split but was so stuffed I couldnt do it however I did ask if they had a banana split shake they didnt. I was sad until my hero spoke up and said she could figure it out. Oh my the shake she whipped up should be on the menu AMAZING!!! banana split to go! Next time we are back down here we know where we'll be stopping to eat. Thank you ladies for great service and great food.

I had to pulled pork barbecue what's onion rings for my side man I took it to go didn't even have anything left over to take to go I ate all of it that was the best onion rings I've had in my whole life.

This place hit the spot!
We were traveling looking for a small town diner type place and saw this, decided to give it a shot.
We got 2 burgers and a shake, everything was delicious and fresh! It was exactly what we were wanting, no frills just great food.
Next time I'm coming through town I'm definitely making a stop to this place again.

Great location, especially if you're visiting the Lodge Cast Iron store and museum. Excellent food and super-friendly staff.
