Went in there to purchase the final items to finish up a wheelchair ramp for a local veteran who had a stroke and is going to be in a wheelchair for a while. I had used reclaimed lumber from a wheelchair ramp to build it out of. I told Charlie what I was doing and he donated the remaining items to get the ramp completed for the veteran. Thanks to Charlie and the staff the ramp is now getting him in and of his house

They always seem to have what I need, and their staff is friendly. A lot of hardware stores have employees who are demeaning toward women, but I never get this feeling here.
