Great Hospital

My 9 yr old cut her head while playing. Fairly deep gash, lots of blood. (Head wounds tend to bleed a lot.) We went in for stitches. We sat in the pediatric ER for 4 hours and finally left without even being seen. Staff was too worried about shift change, solitaire, and sudoku. We were one of three patients when we arrived. after 3 and a half hours decided to leave only to be told they had a room for us. We went in this room and sat waiting 45 minutes for no one to come in. When we finally gave up and left the guy at the desk was playing solitaire and the girl was playing sudoku. I guess my daughter will have to make do with Neosporin and a bandaid until Walgreens opens in the morning. I would give 0 or negative stars if I could.

I would give them a negative star rating if possible. This is the worst place to go even if you are taken you child to the pediatric er for a head wond. We were there for over 3 hours then had to complain before they would put us in a room then after they put us in a room they just left us there and refused to wait on my child. This is by far the worst place to go. The staff at the pediatric er that worked night shift is by far the worst staff I have ever encountered. I remember when this was the best place to go when you needed medical attention now it seems like they don't care about your well-being.

I wish that I could give them 0 stars. Every time I go there I provide secondary insurance however it never fails that I receive a bill because they do not submit to secondary. I call them and they say they will "investigate" however I know they never do bc the next month I receive another statement. I used to work here and I do medical billing so I know the process. Also per statement their hours are 8am-8pm M-F and per their recording office hours are 8am-5pm M-F BUT they do not answer calls until 8:30am. Do not recommend!!

Never answer the phone! Just overall unprofessional.
