Our experience with the staff at Murray's was beyond excellent. From the first phone call Garrett and the staff went above and beyond to help my husband make all the final arrangements for his father's memorial service. The facility was exceptional and clean, when i say nothing out of place i mean just that. Garrett, and the staff made a sad situation so smooth for us. But the icing on the cake for me was pastor Riddy, the message he preached on Joy was perfect and right on time and the songs he sang were as well. So If you are looking for a mortuary to lay your love one to rest I highly recommend Murray's without hesitation

Losing a loved one is hard. Being responsible for making the arrangements is a stressful situation in addition to your loss. When my father in law passed, we needed to have his body sent back to Charleston from Atlanta. From the moment we contacted Murray's, we felt some relief. Melvin made the process so easy. He was extremely prpfessional, helpful and walked us through the entire process. He was always available to answer our many questions. When we made it to Charleston, the entire team was great. My father in law's health had declined over the past few years so his appearance changed. When we got to Murray's and saw him, we were so pleased. Murray's took the time to prepare my father in law's body and had him looking as he did before his health issues. They treated him with dignity and respect and we couldn't have asked for a better outcome. Thank you Melvin, Kenny, and Crystal.

I want to say thank you to Chardale Murray and staff for your professional services. You were compassionate and kind during a difficult time. I was highly impressed with Mr. Kenny Ellis (Kenny). He exemplified excellent customer service. He was very friendly, dedicated, mannerable, knowledgeable, and had a positive attitude. He was very empathetic to my situation.
Whenever I called on him, he always made time. I had a hiccup in my situation, but Kenny stuck with me to the end, making sure everything was correctly processed.

He made me feel very comfortable during this process. If I had to rate Kenny with ten being excellent, I would give him a 12. He is truly an asset to the company. Thank you, Kenny, for your service, and thank you, Murray's Mortuary.

I Mrs. Thorne-Franklin would like to thank the staff at this mortuary for being so professional during my time grief. I want to extend a special thanks to Crystal. Talking with her while making arrangements was as if my loved one was hers. She brought me so much comfort over the phone that I knew I had the right place. She stood by my side from start to finish, she even came to the funeral with me on her day off, simply because I needed her. These guys really love what they do and I myself made a friend. To Murray’s Mortuary Staff, I just want to say a few words about our experience with these young entrepreneur. The whole staff went above and beyond for the Middleton family. Sharon and I would like to thank Ms. Chardale Murray and Mr. Charlie Murray as the directors of the facility for their warmth feeling for our loss. How they took care of Uncle Bob and brought him back to looking like his old days they did an awesome job. They were at our families beck and call no matter how many times we called them. They never hesitated about anything we request or needed. When I say they never skipped a beat, they did not. I would like to say for Mr. Melvin Howard and Mr. Lorenzo Johnson as the night the uncle choose to go home they came in the home and took very good care of him in less than 1 1/2 hours of his departure. The next day we went to make the arrangements they greeted Sharon and I as though they were part of the family. For Mr. Jon Patrick Hart and Mr. Garrett Morgan who these young men will have a special place in my heart, for what they did for our family I cannot thank them enough. For the cars, directing the program, playing the piano, at the family beck and call, during the services and at the end of the service make sure we were ok. If and when there is a need for this service, I would definitely recommend this team at MURRAY’S MORTUARY to handle those affairs. In case I missed anyone, I am sorry but each and every one of you should be proud of the experience you provide our family. It’s was our pleasure to work with the team, Sharon Robinson and Carroline Townsend would like to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you all so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This funeral home is amazing. While grieving from losing a loved one they make planning arrangements an ease. The staff is friendly and family oriented. Chardale makes every wish come true. Thank you Murray’s for giving my mother a true home going celebration.
