I bought a bike the other day and the two gentlemen who helped me made the entire process so easy. I’m so short so I kept needing them to be brought down from the second or third sections and they didn’t bat an eye. Truly appreciate it

Went there last night and purchased 2 guns. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Was like Walmart 30 years ago. Will definitely shop here again. ☺

Went to get a big wagon to take out for Halloween. I need the wagon for my son, who is special needs. Anyways, I went thinking i was getting a certain one, but another caught my eye. The clerk saw me pondering & came over to offer advice. He was great. He listened to all my reasons why I needed the wagon and gave me his advice, which was so helpful. He helped load into the cart & and then, after check out, walked me to the car to help me load it. It wasn't just him. Every employee I came across was so nice & polite. I don't need much from this type of store often, but whenever I do, academy sports has it.

I was interested in items I found online. I was able to discuss in detail about the items with an employee. Very helpful. Recommend!

BEST BEST BEST outdoor/sports/apparel/equipment store. Its always clean with friendly, helpful staff. Great prices but still always a sale. Slides for the kids are cheaper than the outlets and still yet another 25% off this week. Gotta love it.

The store is always organized, staff is helpful and I love that it's a dog-friendly store. Not a wide selection of camping gear, but I have found things here that I haven't seen at other sporting goods stores. I recently bought a pair of really nice Pumas for the gym for only $50, which was surprising since usually, I can't find sneakers i like under $100. The store's location isn't very convenient for me, but it's worth the drive!

I needed to pickup a gift for Father’s Day. After looking up where to find a Bug a Salt Gun near me, Academy Sports is who I went with. I did there online pickup next day. I got emailed to confirm my order. Next day I got text & emailed bout my order being ready for pickup. I could have went inside to get it or curbside. I chose curbside. It made it sooo much easier for me, cause I had my dog in the car. You can call them or go online to notify them you were there & what spot you were parked in. The gentleman brought out my purchase & checked my id, It was perfect!! He was really nice! I loved that I had options for the pickup & it went so smooth for me. I definitely recommend them!! Love this place, never too busy like some competition stores. Employees are always polite, helpful, and always have smiling faces. When in other stores you have to keep searching for employees for help academy you never have to the employees don't try to run and hide from you they actually help you out and will answer any question you have if they don't know the answer they will go out of their way to make sure before you leave unsatisfied that they will get the answer for you. Only down fall I seen is they don't sell rainbow flip flops. Other than that I highly recommend this store for your camping, fishing, hunting and apparel needs.

Great location for a variety of items. Recently purchased my shoes from here, frequently purchase gun ammo from here too. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff in every department.

Don't sleep on Academy Sports. This store always has AMAZING deals and a VARIETY catering to EXTENDED sizes.

Wide selection of sporting goods and gear and clothing. Nice staff willing to help around every corner..they should have something you need and don't BUT think you do.
