The Lunchbox

Never have been disappointed, I get filled up quickly so the half sandwich with side salad (seriously even the salads are 10/10). They make their own ranch and bake amazing cookie muffins with sprinkles that I tried today and I wish I would have gotten more!

This eatery is one of my favs around town, and everything I've had here has been superb. The tuna melt, biscuits & gravy, and selection of desserts are just a few of the hidden gems known for its freshness. Love the Lunchbox!

I absolutely love the Greenfield! Fast and amazing service! I recommend trying a warm wrap or sandwich but they also offer soups, and breakfast items.

First timer. Sandwiches, wraps, soups and salads. Strong support from regulars, take out orders all seemed to be ready for pickup at designated times. I ordered a half wrap amd cup of soup, both were excellent. Good menu, not your standard fair lacking creativity. Recommend stopping in! I will be!

I love this place! It's a very cute cafe and their food is very good. I often come here when visiting my Mom and family in Wilmington, which is several times per month. The portions are perfect and the food is always fresh. They have a wonderful menu. Highly recommended!

Found a gem today, originally wanted to go to Arby's in front of here but the line was wrapped around the building. I took a chance and walked into here and I am glad I did. I got the Wilmington with no onions and wow it was good. The roast beef was good but the shinning star to top it off was the horsey sauce they put on it. I got the sandwich, half a pickle, a bag of chips and a bottle of water for less money then I would of spent at Arby's and tasted much better. The staff was friendly, and the lunchboxes on the walls and displayed was pretty cool. I will defiantly be back in the future.

I am a vegan and was able to enjoy an amazing salad, thank you so much Yvonne the owner who helped me find a great option and Sharon out waitress. My boyfriend had a turkey sandwich and loved it! Check them out if you are in the Wilmington area! FAST, friendly service! We'll be back

This is a great little dive when you're wanting a good sandwich and some tasty potato salad (There's other things to get, but I find myself sticking to those items the most.) The decor is a bit plan, but not a big deal. Staff is friendly and the service is quick for those on a short timeframe. If I had to choose one thing to possibly change, it would be their pickles. They can be soft and chewy sometimes (not a big deal, but just wanted to share).. My wife and I ❤ it! 🥒🤷‍♂

Great local sandwich shop! The decor will make you nostalgic if you're a Gen-X'er like me! Staff are friendly and helpful. Sandwiches are great, but the fresh cakes...I dream about those!

Nothing like good food served by nice friendly people! Great variety on the menu and when I go early in the morning they make a custom biscuit for me that's out of this world tasty and healthy (except for the sausage). Go for breakfast (yes, it's called the Lunchbox but breakfast is terrific) one morning and ask for the Uhl biscuit---you'll love it!

My sister-in-law and I were looking for a place to have breakfast and found The Linchbox on the web! We were VERY happy with the toasted croissant, egg, bacon & cheese and homemade biscuit with egg and sausage. The coffee was the perfect blend - just like I make at home! Will be going there every time we are in town to try something new! Totally loved the lunchbox display cases I even saw some my sons had 40 years ago!

Simply the best sandwich I ever ate. That is not hyperbole, my friends, but for the kind of sandwich I had, just a plain fact. Even though we got there just ten minutes before they closed, they still were as cheerful, as if we had been their first customer of the day.

The South End is probably my favorite sandwich to date, anywhere. Awesome setup and decor inside. Staff actually remebers return customers. Im there every Saturday with my daughter. Best sandwich spot south of New York.

The Middle Sound Grilled Wrap is so delicious that I have not been able to try anything else. Mind you that I have been there over 30 times. The Lunch Box is my favorite lunch spot.

I love this place! A favorite in town for sure. The Reagan IS AMAZING! SOUPS fantastic! My only complaint would be portion size I need an extra square of the Reagan! Owner and staff are always on point.

We came in after 2 and ordered a Reagan and a combo ham/Swiss with chicken and rice soup.my partner said "omg this is so good and the cornbread awesome" I think that's the best chicken and rice soup I have ever eaten and my sandwich perfect . A hidden gem !

Hidden gem! Great menu of lunch fare. Fresh salads, homemade side salads and desserts, friendly staff and a 99 health score! Yummy, healthy, and safe!

Some of the best service and sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken salad is phenomenal. Definitely be back. Atmosphere is awesome definitely one of the best local restaurants in town.

Food great as usual. Especially the Whoopie cake. Lunch special has gone up in price. Not as appealing to take others anymore. Used to eat there several times a week.

Every fresh sandwich I've gotten from here was delicious! I love the tuna fish and the chicken salad. Fresh soups and home made cakes too. Healthy, delicious food.
