Absolutely the best! We have been coming to Topsail Animal Hospital since 2003; initially with one cat, then with two cats, and currently with two pups and one cat. Everyone is very friendly, demonstrates compassion and care for our boys. Also, they are very patient with our anxious big boy Connor who is full of drama where ever we go.
Keep doing what you do! You all are awesome. Thank you for helping us keeping our boys healthy.

I can't say enough great things about the entire staff here! They are so accommodating, love my Pablo! So thorough & have always taken the best care of my pet! They understand people have budgets but love their pets as family. So they always have options on the best way to help your pets specific needs!

I've been going there for the past 12 years. Small unassuming office space but
friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff and 2 great vets. One of the things I love is that if they are completely booked and can't offer you a same-day appointment, they will offer a drop off -- you can drop your pet off and they will work them in between scheduled appointments and call you with a report. I have never been told they can't see my babies. Prices more reasonable than some other clinics in the area.

I was born and raised here and used Wilmington Animal(16 years) who were great but Topsail animal goes above and beyond and I absolutely love the small town vet experience so much more! Every employee is kind, educated, and goes the extra mile to not only take care of you but they offer exceptional service to every pet! My absolute only regret is, I didn’t switch my zoo of dogs and cats sooner! I absolutely love everyone that works in this office! I don’t like to make recommendations but after having 4 dogs and 5 cats, I absolutely can assure you the quality of care your animal gets plus the first class customer service receive, you will never be disappointed!

I wanted to share how pleased I am that we have found this animal hospital. We have a very anxious Kelpie shepard mix, and they treated him with kindness. They clipped his nails on the ground with him, instead of taking him to the back- and took time to examine him so he felt more comfortable. We were also seen quickly, which was wonderful. I highly recommend this vet!

We never really found a vet office in Jacksonville that we ❤We started taking our yellow lab here this past summer and they have been fabulous. She is finally a little bit less anxious at a vet office

My puppy was going to another local vet but I just was never satisfied with the environment there so I decided to look around at other offices and am so glad to have found Topsail Animal Hospital. My dog is now almost 1 and we have been to Topsail Animal Hospital for a few visits and a Spay and everyone at this office is absolutely fantastic! Dr. Sorg & Dr. James are so friendly and very professional. The office staff and techs are the most caring, sweetest people. I won't take my dog anywhere else. This office is the BEST! I have been taking my dogs here for over 16 years. And have known Dr. Mitch Barnes for most of my life he is one of the most big hearted animal care taker that I had the privilege to meet and to have as a friend and a veterinarian. I trust with all my pets and family witch my pets are my family. If you need a trusted big hearted vet this is the place to carry your beloved friend or buddy.

I LOVE Dr. James and his thoroughness and enthusiasm more than words can express. They definitely care about my three dogs and one cat there. Getting an appointment is consistently pretty easy too. Receptionists are always polite and helpful. So glad to have this animal hospital in my life!

We've been using Topsail Animal Hospital since Mitch was running things. Working in rescue and having our own pets, a good relationship with a solid vet is really important to us. Once Maria took over and they took on the new doctor, the quality of service somehow got even better. All the staff is kind and caring.

They're so well liked that they often have to schedule new patients weeks out and there have been times when they weren't taking new patients at all. I know that can be frustrating but as a lifelong client, I know that TAH is worth the wait and effort to get in. They're exceptionally good at what they do and out of the dozens of vets I've been to over the years while working in rescue, Maria stands out above the rest.

I absolutely adore this place. I came from Surf City Pet Hospital. What a world of difference- so kind and down to earth and a real small town feel here which is so appreciated by me. Everyone was so kind and caring towards the animals and us humans. Don’t let new buildings and fancy decor fool you - a place like this is where it’s at.

Both of my pups LOVE this place. Recently just moved to Jacksonville and we continue to make the trip just because of how well they do with our babies.

I am so thankful to have found the vet team at Topsail Animal Hospital. They were so welcoming and accommodating with their scheduling. When it came to care for my puppy they were thorough and informative. This is our first time having a puppy so everything is new to us and I had a lot of questions, but the Vet and vet technicians were helpful and supportive with their responses and kind and patient with me as I tried to learn what they were recommending.
