Trolly Stop Grill and Catering

The other day we passed Trolley Stop Grill and my wife flew into an intense poetic ballad about her love for these hot dogs. I thought to myself she must just be idolizing this place since it reminds her of her childhood, but I was wrong. It is legit amazing.

We went in today for lunch and I was in love from the moment we pulled up in our car.

Trolley Stop has a great feel and atmosphere. The staff are nice and food comes out quick. I ate two Nathan's All-Beef hot dogs with the North Carolina and All The Way toppings. They were the perfect amount of food for a hungry guy. I also got a side of potato salad and it had that home made taste that screams summer BBQ.

Prices are cheap all around, but don't be fooled, because the quality is high. There are even vegan and vegetarian options for your uncle who does yoga or your hippy loving aunt.

So dang YUMMY!!!!! We popped by after a day on the beach, best hotdogs EVER! Staff is so great, and the menu is beyond unique!!! We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! If you are in the area stop by, you will be so happy and so will your tummy!

Really good hotdogs and burgers, the fries are incredible and the chipotle mayo is smokey and really well made, tastes great on the Viking burger. Awesome restaurant, simple, and cozy.

Stopped in for an early lunch. Small, friendly, good food. Our party stuck to the hotdogs, I would recommend the all the way dog. Great place to pop in and get a quick lunch. I believe they do catering as well, so make sure and check that out.

As long as I have lived here I have never been to the Trolly Stop! No real reason why other than I dont love the idea of hot dogs. Don't get me wrong, I have loved a hot dog at Red Sox game! But living in NC seeing trucks full of clueless pigs on the way to their death makes my heart break. Im not a complete vegetarian and I occasionally eat pork and beef, but this is why I had never been to the cute Trolly Stop! But on this day I was starving, I hadn't eaten, it was 2:20pm and I was headed to my hair appointment a few doors down that would last 90 minutes. I walked in and was surprised how big it was inside, they have indoor and outdoor seating, which even allows pups! There was a tv with baseball on and the staff was friendly and polite. There was far more than just hot dogs on the menu! Burgers, fries, inexpensive combo meals, and a great homemade "hot sauce". Having been employing a weight loss lifestyle for a year I now look at menus differently, but this one looked great for families, college students and men! And also for everyone else, emmaone should be able to find something to chomp on. I decided to try a cheeseburger, without the bun, with lettuce, tomato, catsup, mayo and their spicey "hot sauce". Made fresh right in front of me! They were friendly and accommodating. They had many tempting extra treats at the checkout, Hershey Ice Cream Treats like the "Neighborhood Ice Cream Man" for $1.99 - tough to resist - but I did! I took my burger with me to eat under the drier, and boy was it good. I think the signature "hot sauce" really made it great. The color is unusual, and its not like Red Hot or Tabasco, but its great! They sell it in small and bigger sizes, great stocking stuffer or Easter basket addition for the guy in your life. The bottom line, Trolly Stop is a great place to stop after soccer practice, or on a Saturday afternoon, or just when your hungry! I look forward to stopping in again!

You can never have a bad hot dog, only better hotdogs. Their house hot sauce is really good. The sauce almost tastes like chili and mustard, it's great on fries.

Cozy local go to yumminess. Enjoy getting to know each other while you wait to order your made to order dogs. You will order your food get your food then exit, with mouth watering, to find a place to sit and eat! G.F. Friendly

1$ off a hot dog 2-5 pm everyday!! What a good deal. The hot dogs are unique and tasty. The staff was joking around with us and so friendly. Vegetarian dogs, sausages, and grilled cheeses too. Salsa tastes so good on the hot dogs!! I do wish they didn’t use styrofoam though.

All of the food is awesome! The burgers are juicy, the tater tots are crisp and the chili is flavorful! The feel of the place is also great, they play classic music over the speakers so it takes you back in time a little bit as well.
The staff are friendly and give you time to decide without making you feel pressured about it. Lovely establishment, one of Wilmington's best American food spots!

Am EXCELLENT place for lunch. Hot dogs are excellent, burgers are great, and the Cheesesteak is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Give 'em a try.

Surfer dogs and Philly tots are some of our favorites! Love that you can select what type of dog you want. We usually get the all beef ones!

Nice quick hot dog place with some extra options on the menu. The chilli sauce is amazing. They use a really tasty cheese sauce as well. Compared to frontiers hotdogs this place is leagues better.

The dogs are fantastic here! The sauerkraut dog is delicious. The chili dog is amazing, too. The secret sauce is the perfect condiment for the chili.

Placed an order for 50 hot dogs for pick-up and received amazing customer service! She also knew the company I represented and business supporting businesses & the community!! They were individually packaged, had little condiments packets, and they loaded me down with Chili, Onions, and Cole Slaw for sides! She even loaned us some insulated bags to keep them warm until served! (Pick-up at 4:30pm & event at 6pm). Another young man working there even asked if I needed help carrying to the car (hot dogs are light!! LoL. It was kind). They were an absolute hit, saving the night as we got rained on!!! Thanks so much for the yummy dogs & I will definitely utilize this business moving forward for similar needs! Thanks so much. Always the best hot dog spot in Wilmington! Delicious hot dogs with a wide variety of not only the type of hot dog (which is fantastic if you're vegetarian, or just want turkey or beef) as well as great toppings! The staff is always really nice and friendly. My family always wants to go to Trolly Stop when they're in town. Thanks, keep it up guys!

Hot dogs and fries are yummy! The place felt bland and needs some brightening up, but it's a cool little spot.

You get what you pay for. Trolly Stop has awesome hot dogs with a great variety of toppings. You won't get fancy sides but at this price, what did you expect? The staff are very nice, helpful, and fast. It's perfect for a quick lunch.

Never disappoints! Best hotdogs around! You may have to wait in line a few min, but totally worth it!

I can't get enuff of the trolly! I love the food. And the staff are cool too. The only thing is I work a long day. So if I don't break off early than I miss the food. The close a bit early for my belly so make sure to make it down befor closing

Ate here the other day food was great, I got the cheese steak wife got a couple hot dogs we sat outside .

We plan on going back soon .
