Peking Gourmet

Tried this place for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered broccoli and beef with pork fried rice. Broccoli was crunchy, beef was tender, I asked for light sauce so it was just the perfect amount. But the star was the fried rice. Outside of big city Chinatowns this is one of the best fried rice I've had. It was cooked over very high heat, hence it wasn't greasy, and the high heat imparts a flavor that we call 'wok hei' loosely translated to 'wok breath'. Once you have it, you will know the difference. Looking forward to more takeout/delivery. Came back and was just as good.

We had Wonton Soup, Moo Shoo Pork and Egg Rolls. Good food. Good Service. You can dine in but no real atmosphere.. mostly a take out place.

Stopped in here while visiting downtown Wilmington. The food was excellent, had the Moo Shu Pork and it was so delicious. Owner was polite and friendly. I would defiantly recommend this restaurant.

#1 choice in Chinese takeout. Fresh and quick. Pictured are Crispy Crab Rangoon, fresh Veg Lo Mein and Pork Fried Rice, with sweet & slightly spicy Orange Chicken. They deliver around town, not sure of radius. Be prepared-cash only!

Great! Typical chinese menu and best for takeout, they do not serve in packaging made for dine-in. Good vegetables and good tofu as well!

Great food for a small and very busy restaurant near Chandler's wharf on front street. It's only takeout/pickup, meaning you'd have to call in order for pickup or use a delivery service. Food is fresh and delicious, made to order. Total for my special combination dish of sesame chicken was $12.18 (this price is grand total with tax included). Enjoy and Happy holidays!!!

Very good food!! Fresh and hot, even though we had to take it to go. Very nice portions enough to share! Loved the bourbon chicken and the beef lo mein. Nice people and great prices! Def a hidden gem!

My favorite Chinese spot in wilmington. A little whole in the wall joint that knows what they are doing. These places are the best.

Good fast food, limited menu,so you have to be picky, I love their "steak on a stick"and the fried chicken wings are delicious,call ur order in, ready in fifteen minutes yummy 🤤😋😋😋

Wilmington's little secret. The place looks like a hole in the wall, but it honestly has the best Chinese takeout in Wilmington. The customer service is really decent and boasts a broad spectrum of clientele from all walks of life.

Fabulous food and generous portions but I like to get the quart size! Love the shrimp and veggies, curry chicken, pork loin main. And, they DO take credit cards.

Been here many times, but I must say tonight I got the best egg roll I’ve ever had. Love this place.

Peking Gourmet uses a heavy hand with vegetables: i counted six different kinds in my Kung Pao Chicken. Thanks for the healthy feeling!

As stated in other review this Chinese restaurant may seem like an untrustworthy. shady place, but that's completely the opposite. The food is delicious and the staff are polite (and at times comedic). You should definatly mark this place as one of your go to Chinese restaurants.

This is my go to take out downtown. Mainly because its closest and on the way home , but the amount of food you get is insane. Everything I've tried on menu is great

Best Chinese food in town. Been a customer for over 12 years. Much better than Ming Wok which is basically dumpster scrap fed fried cat.

Asked for a large sweet tea got a soup container of tea. Food was good and the price was alright. Ill be coming back.
