Tavern on 17th

First time experience but not the last. They weren't extremely busy and were seated promptly. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Calamari app was very good. For the main course, we ordered crab cakes and grilled salmon. All I can say is wow! Both were excellently and the flavor was outstanding! We are definitely going back as we want to try other dishes. Highly recommend this place.

This place is awesome. It is extremely friendly and the bartender JUSTINE is just a GEM. She makes the best drinks ever. Her professionalism is very rare now and days. The food is also amazing. Jusy a great place to kickback with friends and have a great time!

This is a nice place to eat. My waitress was very polite and attentive. The food was good although a little expensive for lunch. It was well decorated and clean and the menu options were good. I will eat here again.

I really loved the food here, everything I tried tastes great. Very cool stuff, nice bar with inside and outdoor dining area. Definitely would go back.

Whoooaaa, delicious! The calamari was fantastic and the hangover burger was wonderful wth an egg and bacon. I had to ask for lettuce, tomato and onion, but that's just my burger preference. It's a cozy environment with a great beer selection and good bar food.

I come here all the time! Service is amazing and the food is always Awsome. Just ate the nachos and the presentation was Awsome but the flavor was better. I can’t even explain how great this place is. The environment service and food is so great my favorite place to go for food or a drink in Wilmington.

My son and I had dinner here, I had fish and chips and he had pork chops. The waitress was great, beer list was good the portions were more than plentiful and very good. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting too!

Tavern on 17th is a nice place. The service was friendly and fast but not rushed. The food, although a little pricey for lunch, was tasty and the menu selection was good. We will come back again.

Great service- close to the theater- food was delicious- hot and presented well.

First time trying this place out tonight after catching a movie at the near by cinema...tried the crab dip, very creamy & tasty! The group had a few drinks, all different and well made...the bartender was very personal and friendly. Wow didn't expect the extensive menu of sandwiches, flatbreads, salads, appetizers and pasta selections. Ordered the Beef on Wick and wife had a specialty salad of ham and turkey. Both were outstanding along with the service. Really convenient across the street from the movie entrance. Bar was crowded and everyone seemed to be having a good time. You can sit at the bar, outside in a fenced in area or in the dining area. This place is new and the word is getting out. Soon to be waiting lists. Hurry and check it out.

I ordered a burger; it was so juicy and delicious! Plus the service was great and the staff are so friendly.

We had a party of 10. The service was excellent. Savannah was awesome she was very sweet and professional!! The food was delicious and even the chef brings your food our he was awesome 😋 can't wait to go back and try the French fries with shreeded short ribs and cheese on top. It's an appitizer but we got the pretzels which were so fantastic. So good our friends ordered them after we shared ours with them....but get this they never shared back with us!!! That's how good they were. My husband and I both got the Sheppard pie it was outstanding my only complaint I wanted more!!! We were in the dinning room but next time my husband and I are going to sit in the bar it was so warm and cozy. I am giving this restaurant 100 stars!!!

Lunch with my granddaughter! Best time to arrive is just before noon. The service was quick, meals were hot and the atmosphere was pleasant.

Oh my goodness! Loved the atmosphere. Came because the food looked good in pictures and I was not disappointed! Hubby and I had a wonderful date night. Rebecca had a pretty full section and still have good service to us. We were delighted by the live music and on a Wednesday too! Will be back soon!

Lovely place.
The food was delicious, the service was great, my cocktail was delicious.
Calamari was cooked perfectly, and its not hard to mess up the cook on squid.
I had the fish and chips, the fish was cooked crispy delicious.
My husband had a burger which i had a bite of it was flavourful and juicy with melty swiss cheese. So tasty.
Were already planning to go back again and bring friends.

Very good and plentiful food in the bar. The bar tender was swamped with customers but did her best to keep up with a smile and pleasant manner. She is a real asset. Given the number of people in the bar area it seems more help is in order. This has happened more than once on our visits. The pulled meat grilled cheese with homemade kettle chips is amazing and the Guiness is perfectly poured by the friendly and busy bartender.

Ate here some time last month for the first time and meant to leave a review then. Had the beef tips and the shrimp appetizer and it was the best meal I had in a long time. Boyfriend had the Ruben and said it was really good. Service was great.
