Owner & staff were very pleasant & attentive as soon as I walked in the door. Very clean and smelled so good. A candle was lit that I wanted to buy. Great waiting area. Had take out, a panini sandwich w/chips & dip & a Mango drink,,,fresh & delicious. Their presentation right down to the packaging was on!
Wish I had time to eat in. I want to go back and eat outside looks like a fun chilled atmosphere with live music.✌🏾❣💫

This is one of my favorite places in Southern Pines. The new location is tucked away in a beautiful courtyard downtown. The owner and staff are great. If you have any questions about the menu, being that it is plant-based, they are there to guide you through it. And the food is WONDERFUL! Make sure to try the Buffalo “chicken” nuggets!

I went here for the first time today and enjoyed it! I had the nachos and they were sooooo good! (Also much larger than I thought they’d be!) The black beans on the nachos were seasoned very well! I also had a smoothie and it was also good. Mya was my server and was very friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be back for those nachos and to try a juice! Even if you’re not a vegan or vegetarian you should give them a try!

Tasted great...a little pricey in comparison to others I've reviewed but taste was Amazing.

Delicious food, very flavorful! We had the Fiesta bowl with grains, the staff borrito and a cinnamon roll chocolate chip muffin. We highly recommend!!! The immunity juice shot was seriously good too, I thought it'd be too ginger like and it wasn't at all!

We had so much fun going to Rooted Cafe. Beautiful cafe wonderful location. Their molasses cookies we delicious and their fresh juice blends are healthy and yummy. My girls loved it.

I was really excited to find this vegan cafe during my first weekend stay in Southern Pines. I had dinner there and breakfast the next day. Both delicious and healthy! I would have eaten there again but my son wanted to try something else.

I am not under any specific diet restrictions but this food is GOOD! I am obsessed with the pesto avo panini, and any chance I get to swing by and get the cupcake of the day I do! I never thought vegan food could be so good. I also got the chance to partake in their friends-giving last year and while everything was plant based it was so good and being surrounded by the sweet and kind people at Rooted made it even better. You can really tell they care about the quality but also educating others!

I have eaten at Rooted 2x already, and loved both of my meals. I had the kale Caesar salad and a Mexican bowl (sorry, forgot name) and both were delicious. On my recent visit, I tried their cupcakes, and it was amazing. It's hard to find a tasty vegan cupcake! The mango lassi smoothie is my daughters favorite. Staff are always smiling. I definitely recommend you check them out.

Cute cafe vibe, nice decor , friendly staff. Delicious Vegan food. I had their quesadilla and pesto wrap both I think were good. Portions are average sized, decent for the prize. Loved their herbed cashew cream as a side sauce for my wrap.
They can add some more savory / international entrees to their menu to make it a one stop for all.

My wife and I had lunch at this cute little cafe. The food, which is totally plant-based, was terrific and the two staff members were helpful and friendly. We will definitely eat here again!

Incidentally, I had the Kale Caesar Salad. It was huge and quite filling. My wife had the Roasted Bowl and she loved it!

I recently had a friend visit and she’s vegan so I was having trouble figuring out places for us to go out to eat. I’m so happy we discovered this cute restaurant! We loved it so much, ended up going back the next day. I have a dairy intolerance so it was amazing to find a place where I didn’t have to worry about what was in my food. Our meals were delicious, the staff was super sweet and helpful, and the space is beautiful! I’ll definitely return. ❤

I love the menu options but have not been able to get veggie sushi because it is always sold out when I go. I now make a habit of buying something in the adjoining yoga shop because I am drawn to their crystals and candles. Love the bath salt bowl and baggies to make your own take home pouch. Wonderful eats and lovely atmosphere.

I am so happy to have a vegan cafe in Southern Pines. The food and drinks are delicious and perfect for after yoga. The best part is the kind and helpful staff

I had the Poke Bowl and my fiancé had the black bean quesadilla, both were absolutely delicious! We were also impressed with the customer service as everything was well explained to us and brought out very quickly. As a vegan I love knowing that everything was 100% plant based (you can even see the fresh veggies when you walk in!), and I am thrilled this shop has opened in the Southern Pines area. We will definitely be returning!

My family is so excited to have a vegan establishment in Southern Pines!! I’ve been a couple times with my husband and mom. We tried out the poke bowl, pesto avo panini, chickpea salad wrap, “chick” nuggets, mango lassi smoothie, several types of cupcakes, and more. Everything has been absolutely amazing! The cupcakes are particularly moist and delicious! We will definitely continue to come back for more.

Great menu and delicious food! Warm and welcoming staff. It is so refreshing to have a place like this in Sandhills! The location is unique and and an amazing story of repurposing and renovation. There is a neat little boutique with the yoga studio there as well. If you are plant based or want to just eat something yummy try it out.

Love this place, my sister got a banana juice of some sort. One of the lady’s who works there shows me and my service dog around. The cafe is inbetween two yoga studios
