I really enjoy dropping by this store. It’s a great family owned business and they have everything under one roof. I have purchased a new Glock pistol here and had them install night sights on another. I have also used them as a FFL to receive a firearm I bought out west.

Stopped in today on my way through town. The staff at the gun desk was very helpful and showed me probably a dozen guns even though I had stated I would not have the time to complete any purchase paperwork today. I was surprised at the selection they had. I was able to finally see several guns in-person that most shops don’t have. I will definitely be back at some point to finalize a purchase. Thanks!

Purchased a suppressor through SilencerShop earlier this year. Used the terminal inside the store to complete my fingerprinting. When the ATF finally approved my paperwork, the store called me right away. I stopped in to pick up my purchase. After completing the paperwork, I was on my way. The staff at the store were very helpful and efficient in the entire transaction. The staff are always pleasant and helpful for whatever your needs are from purchasing a weapon or ammunition to finding the right accessories. I highly recommend them as a local small business.

I have been told by a couple of friends to stop by Mace if I was coming through town. Finally got a chance to stop in. My experience was nice. Greeted when I came in and promptly asked a couple of times if I needed help. I was just browsing the store that day but liked their large selection of accessories. Ammo storage and a few other items. I'll definitely be stopping back in

I've bought quite a few firearms from Mace. The customer service and the selection of product is impeccable. They have very knowledgeable staff to direct to the right gun of your choice and the prices are competitive for the most part. I am coming back next week to purchase a few more to replace what I lost in a recent house fire.

I hadn't been to Mace in years, but the staff were all friendly and helpful. They also had a part I'd been looking for in stock that I'd had trouble finding elsewhere, and Dave quickly installed it for me for at no extra charge. Mace has a good selection (plus, they carry reloading supplies) and is a local gun shop well worth a visit.

My boyfriend and I went to purchase guns for each of us. He's pretty versed in guns but I am not. I've always been nervous about guns and even more nervous about gun enthusiasts.

I will say, everyone we encountered were friendly and professional with us. I expressed what I was looking for and the person assisting us was patient and informative. The individuals helping us with our background application and purchase, the greeter at the front door, even the other customers were equally as friendly. Honestly, this was a great first gun purchase experience.

Bought my first handgun here. The first one I got had some issues which I discovered after getting home. Todd had me bring it back in for an exchange. He and the other employees provided excellent customer service. Even though all sales are final, if you notice any defects or damage immediately after purchase give them a call and see how they can help.

Have seen a lot of negative reviews about this store talking about politics and nonsense coming from a Latino background they treated me friendly and very straight forward about everything at the end of the day I’m here to shop and I would definitely purchase from them again

This place is great! Discovered this place after living in nearby Carrboro, NC for over a decade. Great selection of just about anything you could ask for from competitive shooting, to hunting, and archery. Purchased a firearm through them a couple weeks ago and had a great experience. I am glad there is an actual gun store/archery shop near-ish by. I'll gladly make the drive over going to bigger box stores.

I loved it. I am a woman and a veteran, my son and i really enjoyed shopping there for the first time. I felt like a kid in a candy store. The staff was Great and knowledgeable and very helpful .And efficient. Enjoyed it and will definitely go back for more. They do not have public bathrooms or otherwise i could have shopped there longer. They have everything.

Upon moving to the area we checked out a number of gun stores, wanting to see what the area had to offer and while we plan to visit and support a number of them, this feels like our go to place. Between the great variety of guns, accessories and other related things in a top notch facility it also has a wonderful staff. Everyone we have talked to has been very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable.

I've stopped in, oh, maybe 5 or 6 times since I first reviewed Mace, a few times was for an FFL transfer, other times was for ammunition or accessories.

I have an odd caliber rifle that I was trying to figure out a way to make more magazines for (the company that makes the rifle modifies stock mags, and they are pricey). I didn't have any luck. The guys at Mace (Michael in this specific case) took the time to look at the magazine I had received with the firearm, and walked through comparing it to a few other items to see what was up with it.

They were really great about letting me exchange the mags I had bought that wouldn't work, picked up some ammunition for my revolver in it's place.

One of the employees, a very nice lady (and sadly I do not recall her name right now, I apologize!) has a great memory for faces, and recognizes me when I stop in.

Everyone there continues to be really friendly, they will continue to get my business!

Go there whenever I need some solid advice on guns, want to see a selection of firearms and bows (not to mention accessories) that are quality. The staff is very knowledgeable in their field, and I go there whenever I need a bow tune up or issue fixed. Good people and a go to store of mine for outdoor stuff.
