The Daily Grind Surf City

My husband and I stopped in for drinks and immediately the atmosphere was amazing! It felt cozy and at home. Lots of menu options, but I went with the turtle mocha iced latte and it was PERFECT! Reasonably priced and super friendly staff. The deck of the adjacent Unwine'd bar is adorable and a great place to enjoy your drink listening to live music. Definitely on our list of favorite Surf City spots.

While I only had the iced coffee here, it was so good. Place was bright and cheerful on the outside and inside. Staff was super nice. They offer a lot more than coffee including t-shirts, etc. I've attached a couple of photos of the menu.

They also have some seating inside and a large deck outside.

A delightful place - more than just a coffee shop. All kinds of coffee and espresso, but also ice cream in multiple flavors, snacks, and the next door "Unwine" shop where alcohol is served. The patio is open, although shielded from the sun by a floating cover tarp. Light and airy. They have live music most of the time, and it is so nice to relax on their patio with coffee or such, and listen to the music. I highly recommend this place. We have been here twice, and will be back again soon!

Daily Grind/Unwined is the place to be! Ideal atmosphere with constant live music, friendly staff, and a caring owner (Jeremy). Great beach setting, delicious food, and diverse drink menu for everyone. It's a must-visit and highly recommend for friends and family looking to have a fun time and share some laughs. We love to bring games and spend hours here! Be sure to stop by whether you’re a local or just visiting!

Got the chance to drive up to check out The Daily Grind today and it did NOT disappoint. This family owned coffee shop shares space with Unwined- we will be back to check that out later. They have a variety of locally roasted coffee and creations from local artists.
I was impressed by the variety of coffee beverages and smoothies available which included lots - and I mean LOTS - of sugar free and plant based options. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
This family owned business has created a great beach vibe which both locals and visiting tourists are sure to enjoy.

Stopped here three times while bicycling in the morning during our vacation. Staff is super nice. They are quick and knowledgeable. Drip coffee was pretty solid. Great outside deck to kick back on and enjoy the beach mornings. We stopped back in later in the week on our way to dinner and got beers --- bartenders were fun and knowledgeable and super nice. Good selection of drinks!

Absolutely loved this gem in surf city, I went back all 3 days I was there. The coffee was delicious, smoothies were great and let me tell you that their charcuterie board is the best I’ve ever had. I so wish this gem has more locations. Bonus the live artists on the patio was a wonderful experience too.

My family has been coming here for vacation for the past 6 years, and every year we make it a point to stop at the Daily Grind at least 2 or 3 times! Their coffee and food are both delicious! The staff is always kind, fast, and efficient also!

I absolutely love this place. I come here multiple times a week. The patio is dog friendly, which I love because I like to bring my pup with me. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, and they also have really good coffee with so many different flavors to choose from. The staff is extremely sweet, and most of them remember me by name. I also love their fresh, homemade donuts!

An absolute must if you’re in the Surf City area! Not only is the coffee and food unbeatable, but the huge outdoor seating area is is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning by the beach. The owners are friendly and welcoming as well! Well worth the weekly drive from Jacksonville!

I am the type of person who sticks to the same coffee every time I go somewhere but, when I came to the daily grind in surf city. I have been coming back here almost everyday. I love trying there different flavors of coffee the staff are so sweet and friendly. The owner is fantastic and really takes pride in his business. If you love coffee go here this place is amazing!

Such an amazing experience with quality food and service. Beautiful patio area and very nicely decorated interior. Highly recommend whether your a tourist down for a visit or your a local and haven’t found this amazing spot!

I love this place so much!!! Great breakfast sandwiches, donuts, and coffee. Small business will 100% have better service always than big chains so please support local businesses. I work for Ridgeside K9 and all of our trainers meet up here at least once a week for great service, good breakfast, and to train our dogs. 10/10 recommend for locals and tourists to check this place out!

The plain brew coffee is very good. We're simple coffee drinkers so this made us happy. Lots of cute stuff for sale. Cute beachy atmosphere.

While on vacation to Topsail Island, my family and I went to Daily Grind every morning! We enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and the quick service. All of the baristas, cashiers, and the owner were very personable and kind. We even had to make sure to stop on our way out.

Their donuts are amazing! So moist and delicious! Definitely try them out if you're in our near Surf City. They also sell coffee and ice cream. ⛱🍩🤤

Absolutely loved my mocha lattes! Will be ordering beans online because the taste was so great! Great atmosphere as well 👏

All the different drinks we got were all incredible, actually tasted like coffee. I know that’s an odd thing to say, but I’ve been to plenty of places where lattes just taste like milk, and the latte here was a perfect blend of coffee, milk, and syrup. The cappuccino I got was also bold and full flavor.

Our family favorite stomping ground. We start every morning here and end many nights on the patio listening to music. Great service and even greater people.

The BEST coffee shop I've been too so far! I ordered the Rasbery Mocha iced coffee and it was delicious! We also got a bagel and t-shirt. Great service and atmosphere. We took our coffee and walked the beach at sunrise, definitely reccomend doing this!!
