I don't know of another wine store where the proprietor can not only recommend a better wine than u came for, but also pour u a glass to enjoy before u leave. Love this place

Best little bottle shop in town! John really knows his wine and has a great selection of from all over the world. Dog friendly and they have a fun deck out back with live music sometimes!

My boyfriend and I used to live 2 blocks from this spot and we used to frequently visit. I miss this place! The wine selection was exquisite and John was very knowledgeable. I brought my girl friends a few times too and we always had a great time!

I love finding places where I can enjoy a glass of wine and strangers feel like friends. This is one of those places: Very welcoming as well as knowledgeable staff, great selection of wines from around the world at a variety of price points to meet anyone's needs, and even a little outdoor space! I will most certainly be back.

I dropped in to pick up some bottles before we headed to the beach. The owner helped me select some really fun wine I had never tried before. He has a selection you would not be able to find elsewhere. It’s a small but well curated collection to shop from. I will definitely be back.

The wine selection is extensive and the atmosphere and ambiance are really amazing. It's like hanging out at your friend's house. Well, a friend with a lot of wine.

We came in on a friend's recommendation for the Friday wine tasting. So glad we did, because as it turned out we ended up buying 2 bottles in addition to the bottle we decided to enjoy there and becoming friends with Beth and John. We have been back many times and I'm excited to try some of the new Sake selection he's been talking about.

Charming wine shop in the heart of the Castle St area. John knows his stuff and has created the perfect vibe here. We love to hang at the bar, listening to records, petting his dog Bella, and chat with the regulars that are always super friendly. Love it!

Wonderful little privately owned wine shop! You can purchase wine by the glass, or if you want, you can purchase a bottle and the owners will open it for you and pour out a glass or two to enjoy at the bar. Very hospitable and friendly, and knowledgeable about both wine and the Wilmington area.

Such an amazing place. John will make you feel right at home. Super welcoming atmosphere and plenty of wines to choose from. Great place for a hangout especially during their wine tasting nights. Highly recommend.

Great place! It feels like walking into a friend’s cellar. John is very friendly and knowledgeable so make sure to ask away. Will definitely escape here at every chance I get.
