I love this place! There are several cigar shops, sure, but this place, in my opinion, offers the best customer service. It is the best casual setting, and it feels like an actual cigar spot. They have a humidor in the back as well. Legendary spot!

If you like pipe tabacco and cigars, this is the shop for you, Tim is a second generation tabacconist and is very knowledgeable. They sell some beautiful pipes, here is a pic of the one my wife bought me for $106.00 what a steal.

I was tasked with buying a box of cigars for a bachelor party even though I don't know much about cigars. I did a bit of local research and saw recommendations for Davis & Son. I was happy with my choice - they took the time to explain different cigar brands to me without making me feel dumb, pricing was competitive, and the guys at the bachelor party were happy with the end result. I definitely recommend them if you're looking for a cigar shop in Wilmington.

Great little pipe and cigar shop.

I added a photo of the Estella pipe I was given as a gift. I liked it so much that when I saw they had a great estate Estella I had to buy it. I am currently enjoying a bowl of Burley Lite Without a Bite from my new estate

This cigar store is a must when in the Wilmington NC area. Great selection, excellent prices and extremely helpful. The store’s humidors are perfect for keeping the fine selection fresh. If you can’t find a cigar to your liking here, I’d be amazed.

I loved the atmosphere of the shop! It was sort of like a museum, with really cool antique pipes and other items. The prices are very reasonable, and there are a lot of great options for gifts! The gentleman at the register was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back!

Amazing, old school tobacco shop. All of their pipe tobacco blends are their own, blended in house, so if you are looking for a tin of X tobacco it isn't the place. But you are likely to find something that fits your taste, maybe even something better. Good prices on pipes as well. Very neat extras, shaving accessories, handmade knives etc. Knowledgeable staff, friendly. Very much worth a visit. I'll be by again whenever I'm in the area.

These guys know their business. Been to many other cigar shops in town and they haven't even heard of my cigar. Good selection and knowledgeable staff, this is my go-to when I want a moon trance cigar.

Most fun I've had in a tobacco shop!! The owners are incredibly awesome people and I really enjoyed my time in there . I went in just to look and ended up buying 2 pipes, a couple ounces of tobacco, 2 cigar boxes, and some accessories. My only negative is that I live 300 miles away!!!!! 😆 If you live in the Wilmington area, go give them a visit. They are truly awesome folks and you won't be disappointed!!! 5 stars!!!!!

I frequent a lot of cigar establishments all over eastern Carolina. Davis & Son is hands down the best experience yet. Friendly and knowledgeable staff as well as friendly regular patrons. The most experienced cigar smoker could learn a lot here and a dabbling novice would be welcomed and treated like family. My highest endorsement.

You know the sensation of the smell of fresh bread that you get the instant you walk into a really good bakery? The same impact happens with the rich smell of tobacco when you walk into Davis & Son. You know you are somewhere special.

The staff, who I assume was the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to quickly align my preferences with his stock - and at a reasonable price. I rarely smoke a cigar, but when I do, Davis & Son will be my purveyor.

Oh! And you MUST stop in to see the classic shaving equipment and handmade writing instruments! Perfect gifts and a great excuse to enjoy one of the greatest smells in shopping.

The people working were extremely knowledgeable. They helped me pick out a few nice cigars for my father for Christmas. He loved them! There are also many accessories for cigar smokers. Will be going back!

This was a great place to come to to get more knowledge about cigars. My finace Greg and I came in and Tim was so knowledgeable and gave us all the information we needed! We got set up with a nice humididor and we couldn't be happier. Definitely be back again soon.
