Motion Makers Bicycle Shop

My family has purchased 4 bikes from Motion Makers due to excellent information and service, with a great attitude. They’ve changed owners over recent years but good core staff remain. You can learn as much or as little as you want to know about your bikes. And we’ve been completely happy with Specialized as a brand.

I brung a shell of a retro Specialized, completely green in this arena and they taught me some basics as they built this bicycle right in front of me. Friendly as can be. So I told all my brothers about it. May God Bless this place in Jesus name. Amen 🙏🏽

I like the way the friendly staff treats me, even though I use my bike to just toodle. They're all competent mechanics, and I feel a camaraderie with Marla, since we're both "yup, I can do that" women. I've bought many things from them over the years; they assembled and mounted the roof rack onto my car, too. And yes, I've recommended their products and service to many friends over the last few years.

Great shop! They were extremely professional, straightforward, and just all around cool people to talk to! They repaired my bike at a great price and it rides like a dream now. The shop itself is awesome too, everything you need and then some. They have a customer for life.

A great place to either buy or have bike repairs if needed. They take great time talking with you about your needs and making sure you are fitted for the perfect bike and seating. I took a 30 year old mountain bike for servicing, and they practically restored it to new. They're also very friendly and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Best bike shop in western NC, IMHO. Larry & Marla are Expert mechanics, outgoing friendly ambassadors for our sport, and willing to research and/or answer any question or problem. They preside over a big stock of bikes, parts, accessories, and equipment, and give honest knowledgeable advice on it all. I don’t always need a bike shop, but when I do, I go here!

Nice bike shop. Fixed my sliced tire with a new wheel and sealant and had me back in the road in no time.

Something I notice the shop needs some bikes in the $500-$700 range for ppl wanting to get into biking. Not everyone wants to spend $1000 on their first bike. I know that Specialized and Diamondback carry bikes in this price range. So just my thoughts thanks guys for the help.
