Jones Cafe

Jones Cafe is a small town relic. It looked like home to all the regulars and staff. The inside literally felt like a capsule from the past. Known for their continuation of the red hot dogs. -- I ordered a chili dog with slaw and chicken fingers with fries. Chili hot dog was everything I was hoping for and everything all together was just under $11. It was a relief to have an economic meal on our road trip. Kinda awesome to see a wide range of generations inside enjoying their meals. I hope to see Jones Cafe continue to serve the generations to come.

Excellent 🌭HOTDOGS 🌭If you want a hotdog experience, this is your place. Steamed bun, homemade slaw, Carolina Packer hotdogs, and great chilli🌭 Staff was delightful, plenty of seating, reasonably priced, and great food. This place is an institution and a must visit if you are in the area! Highly recommend 🌟

Just about as perfect as a hotdog can get. Carolina Packer with chili, slaw, mustard and onion in a perfect bun... AMAZING!! Great spot in Clayton that is worth the drive if you aren't local.

My husband had the smoked sausage dog and I had the double cheeseburger deluxe. We both shared a large chili cheese fries. Everything was fantastic and service was friendly. If we're ever in the area again we'll be back!

i hardly ever leave reviews, but this place was so lovely! the staff were so friendly, and Ms. Carolyn (I believe that’s spelled correctly) was so so sweet and welcoming. I’m brand new to the area and still trying to find my place a bit, and everyone here being so kind made me feel so comfortable. I will be back for sure!

Love this local spot. They have the best prices on food anywhere. The owners are the best and all the wait staff remembers us and our orders every time we come in. It feels like Mayberry. I absolutely love this place.

Best Hotdogs and onion rings around. Carolina Brightleaf dogs and the chili and slaw are great. Definitely recommend if you want a great Hot Dog.

Can’t go wrong at this place. I’m an out-of-towner and drove 45 minutes out of my way for lunch. Enjoy!

Had a great, inexpensive lunch here today. Total bill for 3 people came to $17.01 plus a tip. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. My son in law was amazed at the quality of his burger and my egg and cheese sandwich was awesome. The fries were crinkle cut and very crispy just the way I like. Been there since 1958, and I am sure that they will last until 2058 with the way this place is run!!

Food was great and our waitress was the best, everyone one there is very nice, they are very friendly, loved it, going back to try their breakfast

The Breakfast/lunch eatery in Clayton. The food is sooo good!! Hot, fresh, and over more than enough!! The service can not compare to anything I have seen in a long long time. Friendly staff, clean, and the atmosphere is just like your among old friends, and 👪..
Jones Café thank you for not losing that exceptional down home feel. 10 thumbs up!!! They were close for a week this month to give them a restful vacation. What a wonderful gesture on behalf of the owners!!

I've spend so long around Clayton to only find out about this place a couple months ago. It I hands down the best hot dogs you can get anywhere around here. All of the staff are always so friendly and courteous. Absolutely delicious food all the way around. Make sure you order some chili cheese fries!
