Grinders Caffè

Walked into a nice chilled atmosphere with couches, high top bistros, tables and chairs, and benches... there was a nice cowboy picking on a guitar playing live music... I was immediately greeted. I did feel a bit overwhelmed when I looked up at the menu, so I just ordered my fav chi tea latte with oat milk. It was very good. Service was fast and price was comparable. I browsed the store next door, and it has some super cute bohemian style stuff!! The staff are very friendly! I was very comfortable sitting there next to the live music and reading my book! I will definitely be back!

As an owner of a mobile coffee trailer, I frequent many coffee shops to see who has the best taste and value. Grinders is definitely the best value and has delicious coffee drinks for the College area in town!

I got a chai tea latte and it was great. The layout of this coffee shop is odd cause I placed my order and then walked to the opposite side end to pay immediately after. That part doesn’t make sense. But otherwise a yummy place!

I held an event here for my business and what an amazing experience, staff was so professional and fast. The coffee is amazing and specialty drinks are delicious!

I Always enjoy grinders anytime I am in Wilmington. My favorite is the ice vanilla chai😋. Fast service with a smile and the café is clean and welcoming. Love it there!

This is now one of my most fav coffee shops in the area. The staff answered all my questions and helped me decide which drink to have and it was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere is what really caught me off guard. It's so chill and cozy that I want to just hole up and study there. And the shop that's attached has the incredible products from local artists. I purchased a pink tourmaline worry stone and some stickers. I will be going back soon to dump more of my paycheck into coffee and the shop!!!

All 3 drinks we got were delicious! Add Cayenne to the Mexican Mocha if you like a lil kick. It does not disappoint!

I love Grinders. I went to their location before hurricane Florence and def after they lost everything and rebuilt in a new location. I did order something that I was unfamiliar with (this is why I don’t step out of my comfort zone LOL) and I did not like what I got, but it was also a healthy option and let’s be real, I’m not a healthy eater/drinker. So I went to order something different and the Barista asked me if something was wrong with my order, I told her no, I just needed UNHEALTHY in my life. She laughed and asked me what I liked, and she talked me into the Elvis. And that’s when I tried the Elvis for the first time. And y’all - it was incredible! So if you’re in the Wilmington area, def go on down to Grinders and have some coffee that’ll change your LIFE! Also, give the owner a hug - she made me feel super comfortable being in her establishment as it’s not always easy for the LGBTQ community to be accepted in places. Thanks grinders for being an awesome and welcoming coffee shop ❤

I go to Grinders about once a week, and each time love the coffee. Today I got a blueberry muffin, and albeit a bit dry, was still great! The staff are so kind, warm, and welcoming. The drinks aren’t too sweet, which is perfect since they have their own simple syrup you can add by hand. While I still get Starbucks, I love adding a local place to my palette. :)

I never was very fond of stopping for a coffee before work until I found this place. they are so friendly and welcoming. They brighten my day. The coffee is delicious and very affordable too so that completes the package.

Grinders is great. It's not the best coffee I've ever had (I prefer stronger flavor), but this is probably my favorite coffee shop in Wilmington. They have a nice selection of specialty drinks and the staff is always very friendly. The coffee iced cubes are a nice touch as well.

We love this coffee shop! My writing group and I meet here twice a month. They have a nice big table in the back. Their drinks are amazing! The service is quick.

Grinders is simply splendid, coffee is delicious atmosphere is amazing wait staff is more than helpful. Definitely recommend this place to anyone. It is a must-stop for me once or twice or maybe 3 times a week helps keep me awake at work.

Whenever we travel, we love finding local coffee places. We have been to Wilmington many times; however, this trip was our first time to Grinders. We were not disappointed. The service was great, and the drinks were amazing. They have a fantastic selection of drinks. Hubs got the Hi Felicia each time we went - if you like spicy, this is your drink! So far, I’ve had the Sno-Coconut and Blueberry Pie Latte, both iced with oat milk, and both were amazing! They use coffee ice cubes in some of their drinks too, which is always a nice bonus. My son got the incrediberry smoothie, and he downed it like there was no tomorrow. This has become our return spot for coffee in Wilmington going forward!

Always a treat for me to stop by Grinder’s. So many different and unique drinks to choose from, I could probably have something new every week and never have the same thing twice!

I just love this place. The staff is always friendly and happy to each and every customer. Their coffee selection is superb, oh and Uber yummy too.

This place is such a vibe (pun very much intended). I love popping in, seeing the wonderful owner and manager(s) as they are always so nice. I would recommend getting the Mexican Mocha but iced! Trust me, it’s divine. There are also plenty of other options besides coffee like smoothies, tea, scones, cookies etc. After you get your coffee, you can hop on over to “The Vibe” and shop through locally curated goodies. Perfect way to start the day and support your local businesses ♥
