Lucky Joe | Craft Coffee Shop

Came in from Raleigh and discovered my coffee shop has moved we always stop at on the way in town. We tracked them down at the new location tho as the address was posted, it's very nice and new spot. Service was great, I got my iced latte and the bathroom is just beautiful, love the lighthouses. 🥰They have a upstairs area now too that's HUGE for studying, working or hang out with friends. 👌 There were a lot of books on the shelves as well you can sit and read. I was impressed with the decor and how thoughtful everything was done. Definitely check out their new spot it's behind the Dominos pizza and has a red door, it's in an apartment complex area. The downside I see is you don't drive by it anymore and few parking spaces but I'm sure they will do well there as they do have a good following. It's very disappointing the strip center was bought and they wanted to triple their rent making them move... 😢 Oh and just like before it's pet friendly, so bring your furry friends!🐾😆

My favorite coffee shop in Wilmington! Nick is the kindest, most outgoing coffee shop owner that truly cares about each person that walks in the door. The coffee is flavorful and the new concoctions for fun seasonal lattes are always delicious!

Ahhh, coffee.
That sweet, robust aroma that tickles your nostrils in the morning. It teases you from drowsy blankets and beckons you to a sun-dappled table. The roar of the grinder jerks the mind from unconsciousness, yes, but it is in many ways gentler than, perchance, icy water against one’s skin.

Before long, a steaming cup is cradled in your hands as you sit down, breathe in, and crack open your laptop for the day

Great place for coffee- they cold-brew it which means it has no bitter flavor (try it black before sweetening it!). They also have a wide selection of beer, but manage to still have that "coffeeshop feel," making it a great place to study.

If you're drinking on a budget, check it the $2 beer cooler and $3 pints Thursday.

Great atmosphere for catching up with friends or quietly working on a school or work assignment. Less than seven dollars for a big muffin and gourmet coffee. Unique flavors. and they have local craft beer on tap!

I love the atmosphere. The morning was calm & cozy with people studying/working. The staff was very patient & nice, & answered any questions I had. I got a protein shake, 10/10.

prices are great too. 2 lattes + 2 muffins for $14!

Out of all the coffee shops in Wilmington, this one is by FAR my favorite. I’ve tried 3 drinks so far and every one has been amazing and below $5, which is for some reason hard to find! Everyone I talk to is so sweet and the upstairs area is the best. 10/10

Great caffeinated beverages. Friendly baristas. Pet friendly. People bring their dogs and just chill on the weekend. Well behaved dogs can be off leash inside the cafe. Large area for them to explore, or just lie down and chill without being in the way. Dog treats and water bowls available.

I’ve been coming here for the past couple of years and I absolutely love the atmosphere here. Nick is amazing and you can tell he really cares about every person (and dog) walking through the door. Definitely my go to coffee shop in Wilmington. I’ve met some really great people in the coffee shop, it’s a great study/social hub!

I have been going to Lucky Joe for a few years now. I absolutely love the service, and have never had a bad experience. Everyone is incredibly friendly! I have had great conversations with the employees and with other people getting coffee. The coffee is, without a doubt, the best coffee I have ever had. The environment is great too. I love the music, decorations, people, and the very friendly pups that others bring in. The best coffee in the country, very friendly, dog friendly, and a great environment. Lucky Joe Coffee is always a go to for me no other place has impressed me as much, and I would highly recommend Lucky Joe to anyone!

Such a wonderful place. The staff is always friendly and constantly going above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome. I love coming here to study because it has such a comforting atmosphere. I just found this place a few months ago and it quickly became my favorite coffee shop in Wilmington! The best place to grab great coffee, study, and pet some dogs! (Also, if you haven't yet, definitely try the chai - it is the best I've had)

I love Lucky Joe!! I normally get a regular cold brew, but there are so many menu options for drinks that I could get something new every time I visit if I wanted. My favorite latte is the Hopeless Romantic (white chocolate + raspberry flavor) and it's great whether you prefer hot or iced. Definitely recommend, especially if you're a dog person :)

The best shop, staffed by the best people, with the best beverages, the best patrons, and most importantly THE BEST DOGS. Goodness, so many fantastic pups. 13/10 for all of them.
It's a phenomenal spot, so much so that I'm reluctant to even share my compliments, as I want to keep it all to myself.

Im absolutely loving the upstairs lounge area! Its super bright and open. The coffee as always is perfect. Congradulations, love seeing the growth!

They have a wide selection of delicious coffee and coffee based drinks, and their location on South College is not hard to get to. The coffee shop is large enough to accommodate a good-sized group, but small enough to still feel homey. I love that they post the work of local artists on the walls, too, and that the artist for sale. We artists need all the exposure and support that we can get!

My favorite coffee shop in town! Great prices, great products, and really nice staff. Only downside is if you're allergic to dogs because they almost always have one or more in there. (I love dogs so it's a bonus for me)

Honestly the BEST coffee I have ever had! I always get their cold press heated up. I'm usually someone who needs lots of flavored cream to drink coffee, and this stuff barely needs anything it is so tasty. When I lived there, I got this coffee almost every day, and now I make sure to go here every time I visit. We love Lucky Joe's!!

Really cool environment, with great specialty coffees, juices, kombucha, smoothies, and beers. They also have small snack foods like bagels and some muffins. I had a mango strawberry smoothie blend it with lemonade which was wonderful and the best London fog I probably have ever had in my life. Definitely worth checking out, even if it's just for a quick to go coffee.
