The Curiosity Shoppe

I visited the Curiosity Shoppe today and picked up these cute earrings made by the owner, Chelsea.

The store had such an easy laid back vibe and was full of Knick knacks and jewelry and a plethora of other things!

LOVE this unique little gem of a shop in Black Mountain! I arrived shortly before closing on a Friday late afternoon, I could have spent a lot more time, there are so many items to see! The owner Chelsea is delightful & didn't make me feel rushed at all! I found several interesting things, mood rings, post cards, & an anklet. Her shop has such a welcoming, relaxed vibe! Can't wait to visit her booth at the Pritchard Park Arts Market in downtown Asheville next month! I especially love that she supports Animal Haven, a no kill sanctuary in East Asheville!!

Stopped into the shop a few years ago and it made such an impression that I always knew the next time I go back to Black Mountain was specifically for this lovely unique little shop. All of the items were lovingly chosen and there is a charming air to the atmosphere itself. The owner makes jewelry and her art pieces are brilliantly unique. I of course spent way too much money on my last visit and can’t wait to go back.

Once again I found the perfect gift. As always y’all never disappoint!!! Some of the most unique finds. I highly recommended for any occasion. Can’t forget to mention the music, it adds to the vibe. Don’t forget to check out their other space next door -The Curious Traveler.

This is such an amazing treasure trove!! The owner is so kind and knowledgable on every unique piece available. I spent a week exploring Asheville and Black Mountain, and couldn't help but return to the space multiple times. If you like lovingly crafted jewelry, vintage toys and clothing, and awesome oddities then don't skip out on a trip inside. Bonus points for playing obscenely good music! 5 stars no question <3

We ALWAYS go into this intoxicatingly charming shop when we come to town, between all the fun, unique items and the warm friendly owner- it’s worth the trip alone to see her and be in such good company. Looking forward to sharing my groovy cool 79’s polyester picks!!
