Passing through on our way back home to Gulf shores Alabama. We stopped to eat and the staff was very friendly. And the food was amazing. If you have a chance to stop please do so it was amazing.

Awesome lil cafe. Friendly ladies. Let us park out back in the shade & had a place for our dogs to walk. Excellent food, best fried chicken sandwich I've had in a long time, fresh greens & toms. Fries were perfect. Prepared quickly. Highly recommend stopping into this local gem!

This definitely a hidden gem. The people are so friendly here and the food is very good and homemade!! And on Thursday night they have the best steaks!! On Sunday you need to come early because it gets very busy after churches let out.

Great little place for some very good home cooked meals. Very friendly with reasonable prices. Worth the trip for breakfast or lunch. They are also open on Thursday for steak night!! Best steaks a person can ask for. And Friday is fish fry night.

Love this little gem. On Thursday night is there steak night. They have some of the best steaks I have ever had. Everything here is good. We come here all the time. The lunch plates are always a hit with my husband. Staff is great!!

Best Southern comfort food ever...feels like you are in your grandmother's kitchen. Everything is delicious! That is why no one could tell me their favorite meal!!!! If you can find any better green beans, let me know about it.

The Jalapeno cornbread is what they mean when they say " hot corn bread " and it's oh so good!!! Hot fresh fried chicken, butter beans, mashed potatoes and gravy was just like your grandma used to make and the atmosphere is like a big family reunion. Everyone sitting at a table, drinking iced tea, chatting it up enjoying good fresh hot food!!! True southern comfort and atmosphere!!!

Great home cooked meat and three in an antique store setting. The food was tasty and freshly prepared. The staff was freindly and welcoming. The prices were appropriate. Leave your troubles at the door and enjoy the food.

This quaint restaurant located in an old general store is very unique. I was very pleased with my visit. The ribeye steak was on par with any “so called” steakhouse. Vegetables were unusually fresh and very tasty. Homemade apple pie topped with ice cream was a great choice for dessert. The owner (Norma Jean) is a leader in the community providing food to elderly and needy for non profit. With so much of her time spent serving the community, the restaurant is closed on some week days so plan your visit. If you want REAL southern fair, this is your place.

Some great home grown atmosphere and food. If youre in the mood for some comfort food like grandma used to make come here and enjoy yourself. They have a bunch of old antiques scattered around for purchase. Perfect example of a ma n pop diner.

Order at the counter and get 1 meat, 3 side drink and desert. Try the pork chop it is fantastic!

I was passing through from Texas to Virginia. Thanks to google reviews I found this place and it was fantastic. I had the pork chop sandwich and fried okra. Both were great, staff was friendly, and it’s a cozy place.

Just had a wonderful lunch at this diner. Everything is home made and was delicious. If you are on I-59 south and going thru this area it is well worth the stop. We will be back on our next trip.

Best home cooked food ever. My parents brought me here for the first time and we now go every time I'm in visiting. You will not be disappointed.
