"The positive reviews elsewhere date from around 2006. Sadly now (2012) this B&B is occupied only sporadically and has an absentee owner. Much of the structure is semi-derelict.

On our stay we and our friends were the only guests and we had a terrible time. The toilet waste pipework was apparently blocked when we arrived and the macerator pump ran, very noisily, through the night. Sleep was impossible.

In the morning (5.30am) we were told that there had been a leak during the night and that now there was no water anywhere in the house. We were given a bottle of mineral water each so that we could clean our teeth, but we were not able to wash or use the lavatory. We left at 6.00am in search of a gas station!

The owner was very slow to respond to our immediate request for a refund, and has now prevaricated for three weeks. We give up!
