Joey's

The crawfish and corn bisque was delicious. The fried shrimp poorboy was good but the bisque was a winner. Joey's also has great prepared foods for reheating at home like crawfish pie, shrimp and okra gumbo and a variety of soups. Fresh seafood and meat market with plenty of seasoned and stuffed options. Looking for great cheese and house made salad dressings Joey's has that covered. Oh, don't forget to grab that bottle of wine or spirits to complete your meal. This place has all you need to host the perfect dinner party.

The food from the deli is awesome. The meat and dishes they sell pre-prepared are also excellent. You can't go wrong.

Tasty, adequate sized Shrimp Po'Boy. Service was superior. Answered questions, no hurry and very pleasant.

Seriously the best onion rings I've ever had. That's what brought me in but I also really enjoyed the roast pork poboy. The staff was all super friendly also. Such a neat place with great food!

Had to try one of each of the sides, with a nice Tenderloin with the Pecan pie and Chantilly Cake, for my son and I, for Thanksgiving dinner. Almost everything was perfect, very much enjoyed it.

Our first visit. Lunch. Chicken Pot Pie was a little dry but flavorful none the less. It was the last one and it was at 1:15pm long after it was Prepared.

Decided to stop in today on my day off. Had heard from a friend that it was a neat little spot. A blend of a small deli/grocery, with a restaurant, with a wine/spirit shop. Not big. Not a huge selection. But very nice people. Was greeted by 2 different people. Stopped and talked with Erin for a while about Bourbon. Very sweet and pretty darn knowledgeable! Don't expect a huge selection, but would definitely go back!

I picked up items in the meat store, the chicken and sausage gumbo is excellent and I also bought catfish fillets stuffed with crawfish and crab meat, along with the stuffed speckled trout....I'm going back for more,wish I lived closer cuz I live in thibodaux, but whenever I'm passing thru....I'm going shopping

It's the best! Great selection of fine food and wines. The butchers are very informed and helpful. So many options. Great place to have lunch too. You can't go wrong, you will love it.

I love Joey's. It is small, neat and yet full of everything you need to make a wonderful meal. If you just want to heat a wonderful meal, they have a tremendous stock of delicious soups, appetizers, vegetables, sides, dinners and desserts. Add a top notch butcher shop, freshly baked breads and a great wine selection and you have everything you need to feed one or 100 people! Did I mention the bakery and made-in-house candy and chocolate dipped strawberries?👍😍

Joey’s catered my daughters wedding rehearsal dinner and everything was delicious! Those blueberry bread pudding muffins are 5 stars by themself

On February 18th 2022 we had a rehearsal dinner at Joey's. The food was fantastic! The service was top notch and Joey made everything so easy. You can't go wrong using Joey's for your event!

Meat market and freezer section are great for meal prep. They have so many great frozen prepared meals. My favorite is probably the chicken and sausage gumbo or possibly the shrimp etouffee

Best Pimento Cheese Spread!! I recently bought the Hummus which I also liked!

I live out of state but my parents live in Lafayette. Joey's is my go to for gifts for my parents. You can call and give them a credit card and dollar amount and they will hold a gift card that my parents can pick up at their convenience. Talk to Erin! Joey's is a great market in Lafayette. High end meats, both frozen and fresh! Duck breasts, prime meat as good as you can ask for. Also liquor, wine, champagne and a good selection of deli items!

Great food and friendly service. It was a bit confusing to figure out that you are supposed to order in the Deli first. It was not until we started to sit at a table that any staff let us know "where to go" but everything else was Excellent.

Joey's has great food to dine in or take home. Excellent meat dept and a very good wine and whiskey selection.
