Hampton Inn St. Louis-Columbia

This is a busy hotel but well managed and clean. Our room was good, but though the bath faucet worked, it was loose. The wallpaper in the bath needed repair. The breakfast was good and well managed.

Great spot on the Illinois side of STL. It is just far enough out of the city to be quiet and convenient. There is a liqour store, a grocery store, and even a good BBQ spot within walking distance. The staff was welcoming, rooms were clean, and there was plenty of parking.
I will definitely stay at this location for any future stays in the St Louis area.

We consider this hotel to be our Illinois home. Staff is friendly and attentive. Hotel is very clean and very convenient for us.

Room was clean, coffee available 24 hours a day (which in winter is greatly appreciated 😁!) Only blip was during check in-- but it was quickly handled by the front desk. Great breakfast options, too

I booked a room due to not having power, so I went home to grab my stuff and as I was grabbing everything Jay helped me cancel it almost right away. He was super friendly and very helpful definitely recommend.

Just stayed for one night but really appreciate the front staff who was so kind and helpful. The breakfast spread was neat. Loved the coffee. The lady in breakfast service is very sweet and nice. Loved the updated room the rooms were very clean and quiet spacious. The location is very good a little drive from St Louis downtown but very less traffic.

This location was exceptional in a lot of ways. The updated rooms are a welcoming touch. They have all the basic amenities but it's now a much cleaner and modern look. Rooms have wall based thermostat for A/C which is nice. Wonderful step-in showers.

Staff was eager to help with anything we needed. Room service is now opt-in so they won't disturb you without asking.

The only issue we had is you need all your room keys to be activated simultaneously or as you activate a card it voids the old ones. This means if you have Hilton Honors and you want to use the app you have to forgo the physical card.

Other than that only good things to say. Decent hot breakfast as well.

I would like to Congratulate you on the best two nights I’ve ever experienced in my lifetime at your Hampton Inn at Columbia, Illinois. On February 16 we reserved one night and really enjoy the comfortable bed and walk-in shower. But the kicker was the Amazing Hot Breakfast in the morning. Red velvet waffles w/the fixings, egg omelette with sausage and diced potatoes WOW! So we left to spend the day with our mother and didn’t schedule an entire day, but we did. So it was a no brainer where we were going to stay, but no reservations. No problem. Barb, a new Grandma, took care of us, very helpful and friendly. So to my surprise, you change the Hot Breakfast menu daily, so it wasn’t the same food the next morning, WOW! Same room, but on 1st floor with the walk-in shower, awesome! I will leave the same feedback on Google Maps to help other customers decide on a Comfortable Inn/Hotel. Highly Recommend this Hampton Inn in Colombia, Illinois.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and our room was very quiet. The bed was comfortable as were the linens. We had plenty of towels and soaps, etc. We also enjoyed the pool.

This hotel was just what we needed. We liked to be able to pick out our room before hand, the breakfast was great, the grandkids loved the pool, and “Barb” who worked there was Great! If I owned a business I would try to hire Barb away from them. We will be back for sure.

My boyfriend and I were traveling across country and we decided to join Hilton Rewards and stay here. We made a good choice. This hotel was very clean and they adhere to covid protocols. The staff was very friendly and professional. If you forgot something, they will give you a complimentary toothpaste, razor etc. The bathroom has little shampoo, conditioner, lotion and mouth wash bottles which is nice.
The rooms are basic, nothing fancy but clean and comfortable with a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
They do provide free breakfast but we left very early and did not have any.
They have a little gym and an indoor pool which looked very nice. However, we didn't use those.
What I really like, is when you are a Hilton Rewards member, which is free, you get a small discount on the room and you get to pick the exact room you want on the app. I thought that was a cool feature.
We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.

I got married on Oct.1, 2022 at The Falls. I blocked rooms in advance for my guests. Chyanne was my point of contact mainly for the rooms being blocked. She is beyond nice and patient. From the time we arrived at the property, everything went smoothly. The hotel was very clean and organized. The lady who checked me in was so funny, sweet and kind. My rooms were updated, clean and smelled good. I also rented their meeting room for my bridesmaids to get their makeup done. It was a great experience. I was able to set out fruit and cheese trays for snacking while breakfast was going on. We had a few hiccups that occurred but the front desk and general manger, Shanon O. was right on it. They are so professional, their response time is super quick and being a Hilton honors member, I can say that booking here was really with it. Thank you Hampton Inn, Columbia, IL. for being ALL THAT & MORE! The Browns really appreciated everything.

I can't tell you how great it was to stay here! The staff, all of them, were super! The breakfast was very nice. The lobby seating/eating area was always spotless. The hotel inside as well as outside was well maintained and clean. I also likes the cleaning opt in or opt out feature.

Room was clean and the bed was comfy and the staff was kind and helpful and even the breakfast was ok and there was plenty of grass for wonderdog to run off some energy

Great staff!!! We were having a horrible night and walked in late and the staff was so pleasant to us. Check in was great! The beds are soft and the rooms are on the larger side. Microwave and fridge in every room. The A/C is great there is a wall unit which makes it easy to use. The bathroom is beautiful and has a walk in shower instead of the standard bathtub/shower. Breakfast is hot and they have great selections. It's a little farther from St Louis than we would like but honestly it's worth it! I will be staying here next time we visit St Louis!

For the better price than almost anywhere around, this was great for our one night stay. There isn't a TON of stuff close by but there is a CVS/Walgreens nearby and a handful of food places. Overall though the service was friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

This is our second time staying at the Hampton Inn here in Columbia Il. And it was just as great as last time. Great customer service, great location, the rooms are great. Only issue was this time around the bathroom in our room was still a little dirty. There was hair all over the floor and one of the hand towels has what looked like snot and boogers on it. But this is the first time we have had any issue with the room. Other than that the rooms and service are great

We really enjoyed our stay while we were out for our grandson's wedding. Haley is a magnificent front desk person. So friendly and willing to help in any way she can! Rooms are very clean and spacious and the breakfast is extremely good with lots of choices.
