I have been a patient @ Bayside Primary Care for more than 5 years and have experienced nothing but exemplary healthcare. I highly recommend my nurse practitioner, Deborah Brower, who is kind, patient, knowledgeable, resourceful and very easy to talk to. The other staff members and the overall office vibes are professional, pleasant and warm as well.

Please read all to understand. I would thank all the staff and doctors at Bayside Primary care. I went in for a routine physical. I felt fine, no problems I knew of. The doctor recommended a ct scan since I was a former smoker. The ct scan showed something in one of my lungs. It turned out to be cancer. It was in very early stage, and a surgeon was able to remove it all. Suppose the doctors at Bayside said it is just one more physical. And never found this mass. I think in 5-7 years, I would be saying goodbye to my Family. I thank God the doctors at Bayside cared enough to do a thorough job.

I first found Bayside Primary Care way back. The office was originally in North Beach, and it was there that I first came in contact with Debra Brower. Since that day and with every move there after I've stayed with her. The care and attention I get no matter how big or small my issue may be, she always has the time to listen. She has helped me in more ways than I can count and her bedside manner is second to none.

While I have looked at other reviews here and some are fairly negative I can say that most of them are taken out of context. Mainly the ones that say she has no time for people. That is false. The people who seem to think that this is the way Debra operates are sadly mistaking.

Usually, Debra has a team and there are occasions where someone may not be in the office or there may be other pressing issues afoot which then leaves Debra to run around that office and take care of 2 sometimes 3 peoples jobs at once. In those very rare instances she has to stay on schedule otherwise other patients who are waiting to be seen then experience having to wait even longer, so in order to be fair to everyone she must cut visits short once diagnosis is made and prescriptions and instructions are given. All I can say is....I've never experienced anything like that at all, regardless of how busy she may be. She always makes time when I have other questions or concerns dealing with issues I may not necessarily be there for at the time.

That said:
As long as Debra Brower is practicing, I will be her patient. Once you've found the perfect doctor or nurse practitioner there is no need to look elsewhere. The entire staff is kind and courteous and more importantly....very helpful and knowledgeable. They know how to get things done and they do so with utmost professionalism.

It's never fun having to go to the doctors but when you have to....
Bayside Primary Care is the first place I call and I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new place to call home for their healthcare needs. Top Notch. The only issue I have with this review process is that you are only allowed to give them 5 stars. My experience would rate them as an 11 out of 10 stars.

I have gone to Bayside Primary Care before I can even remember. I am not cared about as a patient but rather a person. After moving across the state for college I tried to find a good local practice but nothing compares to Deb and the rest of the staff at Bayside. Now I just drive home to make an appointment because I know that I cant find any place better and more caring! I recommend Bayside Primary Care to anyone looking for a reliable place they can feel comfortable taking their family and friends for years to come.

Deb Brower is an thorough and insightful physician. She spends time with you as a patient, always considers your health from a holistic perspective rather than just a list of recent symptoms, and exudes genuine care and compassion for her patients.

I see the nurse practitioners at Bayside for checkups and occasional sick visits. Everyone is friendly and professional. Deb Brower is very knowledgeable and helpful. Pretty easy to get appointments (especially sick visits). Staff is responsive when I have questions. It's also convenient that Labcorp is on site. No complaints here.

Great family practice! Three generations of my family are patients here. They listen, work with patients to achieve health goals. Sick walk in hours available.

I love going there! My care is very complete and all my medical needs are met. Not like going to some offices where I’m just a number and hustled out as quickly as possible.

Ms. Deborah Brower is excellent...the reason for four stars is due to billing issues...

I moved from MD to VA earlier this year. When I was living in MD and used this practice, it was fine. However, the doctor will NOT give me one last refill of a med I need before my new patient appointment at the end of January. I called the office many times and they keep sending “messages” to the doctor and all I get in return is “denied” for the refill. Zero communication from my doctor. She just has the receptionist call and relay the message. I tried calling again this morning and I think they actually blocked my number lol. Unless they changed their phone number over Christmas weekend… So, in summary, it’s an average doctor’s office but the customer service is very poor.

Just terrible primary care. Lack of communication to the patient. You will have appointments set up for months in advance just for them to cancel the week of. Honestly, anywhere is better than here. Don’t waste your money

Waited months for an initial visit. They never return calls. Only allow you to have one "problem" per visit. The front desk staff is extremely rude and condescending. They never believe that you actually did call, but then the lady in the back office can find the notes magically. The front desk will ask you about your medical problems and reasons for visits while in the "lobby" with other patients. Then the final straw for me was today when nicole called and mocked me cause I said "ughh". She tried to play it off as she was joking, but if you jave met or dealt with her she is condescending. Might be a personality trait, who knows but I don't appreciate it. Full disclosure I was late for a telehealth appointment and that is why I was called. But the reason for the telehealth to even be necessary is due to lack of follow-through the week prior. My usual provider left and had said I was okay to get refill, however she is now gone and the other provider was not willing to fill my rx without an appointment. I understand the reasoning, however the RX could have been filled the week prior if people actually followed through.
