The Hawthorne Legacy was sold out at our local stores. We drove to Books-A-Million and they had it. They also had a going out of business sale so we were able to get some other really neat items at great prices.

Clean store, helpful staff, quiet and calm atmosphere. The coffee shop is good as well, a little slow but I’ve only ever seen one person working in there at once so that is understandable.

My wife is a bit of a bibliophile. She loves collecting books. So naturally, Books A Million is a shop that we can't get enough of. It's quiet, the selection is plentiful, just an all around great store for people who love books.

Love going spend much needed quite time there. The atmosphere & the numerous amount of books offered to the general public reminds me as if I'm in an actual real library. Customer service has always been polite, informative, & determined to assist you in making sure you find the book you're interested in & the end result... you're satisfied with your purchase. The business establishment has always been clean & well organized. I must offer this in my review: "With the internet & the ability to pull up/read/rent the exact books that any book store offers...it's not the same as having an actual hard copy in your lap...so, in regards all book stores should be appreciated for they are a slight dying breed of business." I definitely do recommend Books-a- Million to family, friends, or strangers (if asked suggestions).

Tons of books in a very clean and organized environment. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They buy back books from you. Sometimes they have pokemon cards, and the store has lots of Pops to choose from. Great location and huge selection! If they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you. Great ideas for off the wall gifts

Stopped in for some anatomy books for my son's school project and the location was incredible. The sheer selections are well maintained and plenty to choose from. There are even great gift ideas and gadgets throughout the store. Toys for the younger ones in our family too. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. Love this ace!

Good prices and friendly staff willing to help you find whatever your looking for. My kid went a little crazy over all the harry potter stuff.
Good selection of non book items like notebooks, novelty items, coffee cups and games.
They also have a decent little cafe inside.

This store has more than books. I went shopping for some different gifts for my grandson. Cute toys, back packs, gifts, and great sales. I really enjoyed shopping here and not having to walk a mile through uneccessary aisles! - smells so good too! (Coffee happiness)

UPDATE: Store and corporate management totally addressed the issue with this employee. I have fully confidence it will never happen to another customer!!

I was at this BAM today and witnessed a gentleman (who later identified himself as the store manager) TOTALLY give a woman and her child a hard time about buying the book Johnny the walrus.

She had to come back to him 3 times asking WHERE to find the book. She finally asked him to get someone to show here where it was. (I think it was in some random section by political books, NOT in the children's section)

She bought the book and he was CLEARLY angered by this, so in retaliation (for whatever he felt she did that slighted him) he rudely yells out some completely random rant about 'Happy Pride Month'.

His unprofessional sarcastic beratement of her and her child didn't end there. Obviously this location is hard-up for a store manager.

The child even made the comment that "that guy has mental problems". Truth (IMHO) from the mouths of babes.

All the drama he created over this book made me curious what this book was about. I looked it up and I ordered 3 copies. Then I told all my friends about this book as well. This book... what a wonderful way to open up dialog to have this conversation with a child, before a total stranger does behind your back.

They are tucking this book in random, hard to find nooks in the store, so allow yourself time to hunt and don't give up the search.

Great store. Full of books and cute stuff. Very relaxed atmosphere. Cheaper deals than other bookstores around town. Especially if you have a membership ($25/year). Lots of variety in items. Only complaint is that theres not really as much of a selection of books as I would want, but still a great store.

Always love coming to this store. Its not too loud the selection of store items are good and stocked up as well. Also has good coffee. The only downside is getting out that parking lot. Beyond that I'd totally reccomend this store!

My local BAM is way on the other side of town from where I live. So it's nice now to have a membership for BarnesandNoble which is more near me and BAM when I'm on that side of town and of course BAM has some great book options just like Barnes and Noble does. So it's a Win Win for both book stores for me. Love BAM now!!! 🥰

Books a million has been one of my favorite bookstores throughout the years. The service is always great. The environment is very inviting for book lovers. I always find great deals for me and my children.

The website is very accommodating, as well.
