Went there once again for a book presentation, this time by Zachary Richard for his first novel, in French, Les Rafales du Carême 👍😊. The atmosphere of the bookstore, the kindness of the staff, including Pascale, and the owner, Bryan, make us feel very welcomed. Amazing selection of books, especially by Louisiana authors, in French language 😉🤗. Highly recommended!

Cool little book store. I read alot of books, at least 1 or 2 a week. I've been stopping by local book stores as I travel. This store didn't have a whole lot in the genre I love...Fantasy, but with the help from a young lady that worked there, I picked up a mystery/thriller book that she loved. I also found a book in my TBR list.

Very hip, very cool spot. Love the bookstore, hope they eventually expand, and would love to see them add a shelf for drama books/plays. Absolutely relaxed and rad vibe, quiet and relaxed and the staff is friendly, laid back, and helpful.

Perfect ambiance. The books are unique and progressive. I found George Orwells 1984 collectors edition for 13$, so they are priced very well. Lots of cute games and stickers. All the books are inclusive. The tea and cocktails are the best and modesty priced for downtown.

Great store and fantastic mixed drinks! Got some advice on choosing a book by a new author (trying to branch out and find new authors I like) and a tasty cocktail. Loved the vibe. Can't wait to go back and get a new book and see what new cocktails I might discover too!

Good cocktails, great assortment of books! I really loved the children's corner, and the local stickers were hilarious! The esthetics are inviting and the furniture super comfortable and smart. I loved it!!

Very cozy and has something for everyone if you like to read. Many different genres :-) They also sell alcohol certain evenings! One might read a book while sipping on a nice glass of wine!

Yesterday I attended the soft opening of the Whisper Room and I was completely blown away! The atmosphere, service, and cocktails were out of this world! It’s so cool to have a place like this in Lafayette. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend this experience!

This place is a bookworm’s dream. My boyfriend and I drove from Houston for an author event (Kevin Hearne). I was already excited at the fact that it was not only a bookstore, but also a bar! The bookstore section has a great variety of popular books and a reading area to hang out. The WhisperRoom (bar side of the bookstore) does allow anyone on that side, but after 6pm must be 21yo (great idea IMO). The drinks were amazing, we got the small charcuterie board which was also so freaking good, and the atmosphere is exactly what I look for when it comes to reading. Already planning a trip with my bookclub to visit soon.

This bookstore is such a delightful place! I found books and gifts and just enjoyed spending time looking at everything!

Had a meeting with friends here on a Saturday morning. We sat in the cafe. The service is wonderful, the charcuterie board was delicious and the bookstore is ABSOLUTELY charming!
