Silver Queen

I visited Silver Queen with friends. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and extremely welcoming. The patio area was popular with plenty of outdoor seating. We really felt like guest.The brisket tacos are the bomb! The chocolate coffee (martini type) drink was the rave. If you haven't been here, you should make plans soon.

The was my first time dining here. The quality of ingredients impressed me. Everything tasted super fresh as if the veggies were picked in the kitchen. My husband and I both had the burritos which were packed full of flavor, especially the super tender brisket. My son loved the mini quesadilla. We will definitely be back

UNBELIEVABLE - This past weekend, I met some family in Monroe GA. For you GA Bulldog fans, you know it's on the way to Athens GA.

Someone had the idea to try out this local restaurant in the downtown area. When I first heard it was located anywhere near 'downtown' Monroe, I objected.

Then I was informed heard it had been totally renovated - and wow. Downtown Monroe has been very much updated and is now what would be considered 'a happening place'.

I was amazed by he location of the Silver Queen. We were able to enjoy brunch out on the nice patio area. The service and atmosphere were really awesome. I would definitely recommend for those who want to enjoy one of Monroe's best dining experiences!

A great day for outdoor dining with a friend! Not too busy as the regular lunch crowd had already departed.
Chips and salsa for starters. Shrimp plate with a side of fries and a rice and bean bowl topped with the brisket taco were on the menu for us today. Didn't disappoint!

The shrimp were lightly breaded and full with flavor. They were on the smaller size but very tasty. Fries were seasoned perfectly with what tasted like a parmesan crust...could be wrong about that but they were VERY good. The r/b with brisket was OMG so much food....beans were soft and a great addition to the tender brisket atop a delicious mound of white rice with a cream sauce drizzle! If I wasn't so full I would probably be drooling all over myself by now!

We have dined at Silver Queen on a regular evening and also now have attended one of their special events of a Chef's Dinner with a visiting "pop-up" restaurant. The environment, service, and food always exceed expectation and is a gem of a restaurant in Monroe and Walton County. Tucked away and still open to the bustle of the restaurant is your own private oasis found in the upstairs private room area where special events and occasions are hosted. You find yourself invited for a true culinary experience without pretentiousness, and feel welcomed into this talented culinary space as one dish surprises and delights either from the menu, or in the case of Chef Dinners, revolves around an intimate, true gourmet evolution of flavors with a visiting chef. The restaurant is perfect for families, groups, couples, and individuals seeking a culinary infatuation of dimensional levels of flavor. You dine among a crowd but feel as though you are dining with family. The vision of Silver Queen continues to "wow" the residents in Walton County, and although it could be the best kept secret it deserves to be shared with the world.

Silver Queen is absolutely nailing brunch. First time in for brunch in a while. Breakfast burrito was a great addition to the menu! I got mine with chorizo and a side of cheese grits. Excellent choice. My son had the chicken sandwich and fruit. He also said his food was delicious. Definitely check out the grit bowl and the avocado toast. Those are our usual orders and they are always great.

Phew! Where do I begin? The atmosphere is phenomenal, the location is Monroe, which says it all, the service will blow your socks off, the food will drive your tastebuds wild, the drinks will make you think a fairy is involved in the magic of the mix, and the aesthetics will bring you comfort, warmth, familiarity and generate great memories.

This place is so amazing. My wife and I went four times in about one week and two days. Their food is soo good. We’ve had the fried chicken sandwich with the honey hot sauce (crackkk), the brunch chorizo taco was everything, the braised brisket tacos and sandwich were seasoned to perfection!! The chicken tinga tacos make you want to cry. I even had the burrito but with the fried honey hot chicken (not on the menu, but they made it anyway (they love me)). Oh, and their drinks, I can’t even with how delicious their margaritas are, and they also have.. drum roll, please… BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS! And they’re not afraid to keep ‘em coming. To top it alllll off, their place is clean, especially their bar, and you can’t. Beat. Their. Staff. Everyone we’ve met has been incredible! Shout out to: Isabella, Paulo, kody, Faith, Savannah, C. Bass, Wes & Missy!! The bunch we’ve met so far during our four visits. We’ll be back this Thursday for their 2nd birthday celebration, and every Tuesday (for the season anyway), they will have BOGO margaritas! We just moved to Monroe in July and have been driving an hour to ATL without having really given our small town a chance. We’re SOOOOO glad that we began at Silver Queen with great people, and we can’t wait to build our friendships and continue to eat great!

I love the Honey hot chicken sammie! This place is always a good date night spot, and the upstairs outside seating is nice that overlooks Downtown Monroe.

A beautiful, casual-chic restaurant on scenic Monroe!! My family and I came here and sampled all over the menu: the shrimp, fish, and brisket tacos, chicken sandwich, tatter tots, fries, banging shrimp, shrimp and grits—ALL were absolutely PHENOMENAL! It instantly became a place we will frequent. We got the chance to speak with Wes, the owner, who explained Silver Queen’s unique origins. The restaurant is gorgeous, with kind waitstaff and excellent food.

If you’re looking for a place locals love with an elegant-yet-comfortable atmosphere and delicious food at a great price point, this is the place!

Very happy that our friends brought us here while we were visiting from out of town! There was a short wait but we were able to grab drinks while we waited. We hadn't even finished them by the time we had our table. The service was quick and the food was amazing! I had the chorizo burger. Our friends got tacos and were all very happy with them. We got chips, salsa and queso for the appetizers and loved it all, especially the salsa. I had seen a banana pudding popsicle that looked amazing, but I was too full. The drink options were great and ranged from local/domestic beers, margaritas and other mixed cocktails! I can't wait to come back to grab some more great food.

Shrimp-n-grits from the brunch menu was absolutely delicious! Patio dining on a beautiful day with friendly, attentive service. Thank you Sierra! Decor and atmosphere make this a gem in a small town. Will definitely be back!

Great meal for my wife and I. We ordered chips and queso, plus two dishes each and shared to get as many different flavors as possible.

The rice and beans might have been the best dish, but my steak taco was awesome as wel and right there with it. They were the highlights, for sure, although the chips and the chicken and shrimp tacos were also good.

It would be a regular if we were closer to Monroe.

Amazing food and environment. This was my first time going to Silver Queen as a brick and mortar. I must say I am super impressed. I'm so excited to enjoy this great new addition to our little town of Monroe. Good job guys.

The food here was literally so good! And we had the best and most patient server! I really enjoyed this restaurant and the experience here overall- I don’t eat French toast but I would recommend theirs:3

We typically love Silver Queen for any lunch or dinner visit. This particular visit was a "pop-up" event with the chefs of Vinetta from Atlanta.

Silver Queen was an amazing Dining experience. The staff was wonderful and the nachos plate was amazing! We will definitely be back!

Love the design and atmosphere. All the tacos I have had have been great but especially love the braised pork and chorizo. The silver frozen marg is one of the best I've ever a had! The service is amazing -- it is clear the everyone there really cares about the community and providing a great experience.

Great food. Atmosphere is wonderful with an upper and lower outside patio. And the craft beer are wonderful!
