When I tell you this gender reveal cake was perfect, what I mean is that it was PERFECT. The artistry was beyond beautiful and the taste and texture were absolutely marvelous. Often cakes this gorgeous don’t taste good, but this was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. Totally exceeded my expectation and even imagination. We looked around a few bakeries in Athens, and I’m so glad we went with Blue Rooster. They understood the assignment, and were really easy and fun to work with, too.

Great bakery, festive atmosphere, super trooper nice staff! Sat down and had some pastries and took some cookies and cupcakes to go. Spotlessly clean, even the restrooms. Stop by for a quick bite, you won’t be disappointed.

Very clean and organized. Great selection of different deserts. The deserts taste amazing. The cake decorator was amazing when talking with him about making my daughters birthday cake. The overall customer service great. And the atmosphere is very inviting. I suggest stopping in and trying a cupcake when you can.

I cannot recommend The Blue Rooster enough!! Scott, the cake artist in Monroe, is INCREDIBLE. He can quite literally do it all. I’ve bought many cakes from The Blue Rooster, several before Scott started decorating there, and they are delicious! Excellent recipes and they were beautiful. The last 3 cakes I’ve gotten have been decorated by Scott and he is truly an artist! You can 100% trust him with your vision for your special occasion. In the photos, the bluebird, Bluey, and My Melody were done by Scott. (Oh, all their pastries, chicken salad, potato salad and pimento cheese are delicious too!!) :)

Love their desserts! The cupcakes and cookies are delicious! Many unique varieties. Friendly staff. Very busy at lunch hour on the weekends so I'm assuming lunch is good as well. Several different cupcake flavors and designs to choose from on display.

Scott did an amazing job executing my daughter’s “Dream” birthday cake for her Sweet Sixteen. She loved it. It is beautiful. All of the treats in the restaurant looked AMAZING. It’s located in cute downtown Monroe. I would definitely recommend! We will be back!

i just moved to downtown monroe with my family and we love this place!!! they have amazing cupcakes me and my boyfriend come in all the time! the girls here are super sweet and kind to us every time! can’t wait to come back for more amazing treats!! 🍰

I stopped in to grab a To-Go sandwich before the Christmas parade. It was delicious, especially the fresh bread and plenty of meat. The sweet treats looked wonderful. I will be back for one of those personal pies. 🥧

My family loves visiting the blue rooster in Monroe! Our last visit was right before they closed on Dino day and the store looked absolutely amazing. They had so many dinosaurs themed treats for my son to choose from! He absolutely loved walking around the store and finding all the dinosaurs figurines they decorated with! The owner was super sweet and let my son choose his favorite balloon to go home with! Cant wait for our next visit!

Came because it was Unicorn Day in Monroe. The desserts were amazing and they had a huge selection to choose from. Coming back soon for the food.

My favorite place in Monroe! You have to stop in. They have jumbo cupcakes, beautiful cookies, delicious cakes and they also have chicken salad and lunch options 😋

Good Gracious! I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE W BLUE ROOSTER! I ordered a strawberry cake w strawberry icing for my niece’s baby shower. Not only did it taste AMAZING AND LOOK AMAZING, but the attention to detail from Cassidy and Jordan (met w them at shop and they called to discuss), was awesome! (Check out the fabulous sparkles on the icing…..look close). This was a definite hit at the shower! Had soo many people comment on how they loved it! Thank u, Jordan and Cassidy! Love, Amanda

Such a cute place! Their cupcakes are some of the best outside of Atlanta. Great flavors, super moist and beautifully decorated - worth the upcharge compared to supermarket bakeries. Staff is sweet and thoughtful.

This place is beautiful with extremely nice staff! Zoe and Leo were very helpful when deciding on what to order! The flavors are so delicious, you can’t go wrong with any selection! Will definitely be coming back!

Wow, just wow!!! We stopped in today after getting married at the courthouse to get a cake to celebrate our special moment and that’s when we were helped by Tessa!
We started making small talk asking what was in each type of cake and about all the different desserts, which she was extremely knowledgeable in. She was very happy and pleased to help us and that’s when she found we had just gotten married. Once she helped us settle on the cookie dough cake, she brought it to the back to wrap it up.
When she came back out with our cake, she let us know that the cake was on the house and to enjoy our special day. But our day was made even more special because the kindness and generosity that Tessa and the Blue Rooster showed us!
We have been to the bakery numerous time and all their pastries and cakes are always amazing, but the kindness that we received today, brought y’all a step above! You have gained a customer for life today with the sweet gesture. Thank you 💗💗💗

Great chicken salad sandwich! Just be aware they charge you for paying them with a card instead of it being a normal business expense.

I ordered gender reveal cupcakes and unfortunately, my lovely dogs ate all 6 of them shortly before the event. I called Blue Rooster to order replacements and they were very understanding and had them ready for me within 30 minutes! I’m blown away at the excellence of their customer service and their food/sweets are absolutely delicious! Thank you Blue Rooster for saving the day!

Very nice bakery and sandwich shop. The Chicken salad sandwich was excellent! They also have a great selection of baked goods. Wife loves the coconut cupcake and I had the eclair. Will be back when in area.
