What a special place! If I had a bookstore like this when I was young I would've never wanted to leave. The space is magical and the staff are kind. I can't wait to become a frequent visitor to this bookstore.

Oh my goodness!!! Talking about being a little kid again! This place was AMAZING!!! Secret little reading nooks, tons of beautiful books!!! If I had enough money, I would buy all the books in the store!!!😍 They also have a Narnia wardrobes you can actually walk through too! Inner child in my husband definitely came out when he saw that lol

Simply a magical little shop. For anyone with younger kids or literature lovers, this is a wonderful spot with charming, helpful staff and a great collection of classics!

The party room at The Story Shop was absolutely perfect for hosting my sister's baby shower! We chose the "Peter Rabbit" theme, and everything was decorated so beautifully by the staff; the attention to detail was superb. It was so nice that I didn't have to worry about buying or setting up decorations - The Story Shop took care of everything! Communication with the venue was great leading up to our event, and the staff on-site during our party were so friendly and helpful! We couldn't have asked for a better venue, and all of our guests were so impressed by the space and your wonderful book store! Thank you for helping make this such a special day!

I can't add to the already 300+ positive reviews of this incredible gem. We visited yesterday with 4 moms + 14 kids in town. The staff did not bat an eye. The kids wandered freely, explored every nook and cranny. I snuggled up and ready 3 different books with my 4 yr old. It is a truly magical store for children and adults, alike, who enjoy children's books. The tiny details at every turn were such a delight. The thought and love behind this store are apparent and it creates an infectious energy of love for children's books and literacy. Completely worth the drive. Spend the afternoon, grab lunch nearby, shop the store and grab ice cream at Scoops 2 doors down!

We had my 8 year old's birthday party here. It is easily one of the cutest places I've ever visited. When I look for a birthday party venue for one of my children I typically try to stick to around 20 minutes or less of travel. The Story Shop popped up and even though I noticed it was 45+ minutes from me I added it to the list. As a book lover since childhood I was thrilled when my daughter chose The Story Shop for her party. It was 100% worth the drive and we will be back to visit even though it's not "local" to us. Parents are only responsible for bringing the food and cake. Decor (Woodland Fairy theme for us), paper plates etc, party games, serving the food, and clean up is all done by the staff. They were also extremely friendly and patient with the kids. Thank you for the great experience! I'm sure my daughter will always remember this party.

This is a unique bookstore that has some of the most imaginative and accurate decor and rooms throughout the store. They have taken themes and characters from the most popular children's books and brought them to life in a way that you feel like you're in the story as soon as you walk in.

We had my daughter’s 4th birthday here and it was amazing! The Story Shop took care of everything (decor, activities, clean up). All we did was bring food! They even served the food and cake to the kids! They spoke to us every step of the way and were super flexible with the schedule. I HIGHLY recommend having your kid’s birthday here! No stress for parents and the kids had so much fun!

I love this little bookstore! It is my favorite thing about Monroe. My daughter is always happy when we visit here. It is very interactive for the children and they offer many different types of children’s books. They also offer birthday parties and readings. The employees are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend a stop here if you are in Monroe.

Just had my daughter’s 4th birthday party at The Story Shop! It was so cute and they did a great job keeping everything moving smoothly and all of the children engaged! Cali and Lily were great! They made it so easy on us! Their shop is so cute, my daughter never wants to leave.

Located in Monroe, Georgia The Story Shop is a beautiful book store for every age group you can think of. The entire store is immersive experience with so many literature references that it was a joy to point them out to my daughter.

We spent a good part of our visit exploring the different rooms & browsing their wonderful selection of books. After picking out a few, my daughter got to play in their Hobbit house while I snuck out for tea time around the corner.

I highly recommend you check out their IG & support such a gorgeous store. It's so important to keep kids interested in reading & this book store does a phenomenal job keeping fantasy alive for any age.

I was truly impressed by the set up and decor of this children's bookstore! Such a creative way to jump start the imagination of children and get them excited to read. Everywhere I looked was a reference to a story. It was so whimsical! The "secret" rooms were fun for the kids and the party room in the back got my mind thinking of the greatest baby shower ever. Every parent needs to drop by with their child(ren) for a shopping trip. Let's keep bookstores going strong....online sites cannot compare to this place!

Completely beautiful children's book store. No detail has been overlooked in the creation of this space. My daughter and I went here originally for the Mad Hatter Tea Party that I saw advertised on Facebook. She had a blast and met lots of kids there. We had story time in the Narnia wardrobe. There's even a Hobbit hole in a wall. There are tributes to books everywhere and just beautifully done.

Very fun and perfectly fit for toddlers. They even have a wardrobe that leads into a storybook room

A one of a kind book store. This place is a kid's dream come true! They have the wardrobe from Narnia that you can walk through to a secret room, the yellow brick road from Wizard of Oz and even a secret hobbit reading nook. Such a cool spot and the books are amazing!

We love the Story Shop! We visit on a weekly basis and always have a positive experience! We love Ms. Julie and the staff. We also had our daughter’s birthday celebration there and it was perfect! They handled everything and it was a wonderful experience. I recommend everyone who visits Monroe to visit the Story Shop

My daughter had her party at the story shop this weekend and it was amazing!! Riley and Lilly were beyond great. I would recommend this place a birthday party. It priceless memories for sure. The best staff!!

This place is magical!!!!!!!!!! I highly recommend a visit, whether you have children or not! It’s a fairy tale come true! Hidden passageways, hobbit holes, a Mad Hatter Tea Party room!!! This is my favorite bookstore I’ve ever been in (my daughter’s too)!!!! Be sure to open the armoire in the photo for an awesome surprise!!!!
