Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Airport

We stayed at the Residence Inn Miami Airport at the tail end of our Key West trip. Over the years I have come not to expect much from airport hotels. This was very much an exception. Very clean and nice. We ate at the Marriott conveniently located across the parking lot, no more than a 3 minute walk. The food was excellent and we were able to charge to our room at the Residence Inn. Their airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes which is very convenient.

The room is decently sized, including a kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water. The room was clean and in good condition. The free airport shuttle got us here with minimal difficulty. The free breakfast was good. We would stay here again.

When I tell you the staff went above and beyond for my family and I. Ana and another young lady at the front desk (I didn't catch her name) were so helpful and pleasant every time you entered the building. Angela during breakfast went above and beyond to help me and it's the little things that mean a lot. She always had a smile on her face. Our two bedroom suite was very clean and spacious. Food places were in walking distance which made our stay even better. I WILL be staying here again.

Very nice, well-kept hotel. We arrived around 1am and were helped flawlessly. Breakfast was robust and had plenty of options. Make sure you know which Marriott you are going to as there are a few that share the same parking lot. Would definitely return for a quick Miami spot to stay before or after a cruise. Very cheap Uber to the cruise terminal!

After a nightmare experience with the airlines we made it to Residence Inn at about 3am. The gentleman at the front desk (I don’t remember his name, but it was the morning of Feb 25) welcomed us and set us up quickly. Our bags were lost with the airlines so he set us up with some toothbrushes and toothpaste so we had some essentials. That morning we woke up shortly after breakfast was closed up. I ran downstairs to try to grab some food for my kids. Zoila, at the front desk, was great. She quickly called her manager and got us some food that I could take to the room. Though the night was hectic trying to get to the hotel, our hotel stay was wonderful and the staff was great. Thank you.

Very comfortable stay at the Residence Inn. Shuttles are very quick to arrive and leave to the airport every 15 minutes. This is as good as it gets for an airport hotel.

Check in was quick friendly and efficient and breakfast spread was very nice.

For a quick overnight near the airport, this can’t be beat.

Absolutely amazing. Breakfast was lovely. The decor is beautiful. Rooms are quite spacious and relaxing. However, a lot of facilities are located in nearby hotels such as the gym and dining area.

We LOVE this place! Perfect sized suite. So cozy! Clean! Low the hallway carpet. We wanted a kitchen with a stove to cook on Christmas Day while on vacation. The check in ladies were very friendly and helpful. 😀

Staff are lovely, breakfast as is expected with a good amount of choice, and rooms are quiet, clean and well appointed. Nothing interesting is walkable in the area outside the hotel complex but plenty of ubers are just a minute away. A solid choice near the airport.

They have a machine that you can purchase wine and beer from, never seen one before

Awesome. Was there for a work related training for 3 months and I enjoyed have a place to cook food .they had some pots silverware cook ware,cups and glasses, full fridge ,stove top,toaster and mixing bowl so I had no need to buy things I couldn't fly back with.

Good place to stay before your flight the next day. The hotel is in the Marriott complex miami International.
There are 4 hotels in the complex. Secure parking everything you need is right here. Great pool.

Beautiful Hotel and great breakfast. Nice to see waffle makers back. If you arrive after 10p, get something from the Marketplace. Most food places are close by then.

Hope this review is seen by Corporate. If there was a possible 10 star rating it would be given. The staff at the Residence Inn has been exceptional while staying at this hotel. The kindness and the most prompt service is all that I have experienced. I must include a special recognition to the receptionist, Ana. Knowing that I was becoming a new father within a few months, she took the time out of her off day, to gift our future daughter a present. Being that I travel around the world often, it's actually the most sincere act I have ever experience from a hotel representative. Thank you Marriott for having great individuals such as Ana, Zoila and the other staff members to represent your brand.

My airline placed me here after a cancelled flight, and I felt absolutely compelled to post my exceptional experience with the staff here.

After a long day of traveling, carrying way too many suitcases, I left my backpack full of my most valuable things (multiple laptops and other high ticket items) in the lobby at 11pm. When I woke up and realized it was gone, I was in a panic.

Zoila initially received me in the lobby and helped calm me with her professionalism.

I was quickly put into contact with their security, Eduardo who immediately began following protocol, reviewing tapes and assisted with having the police to arrive promptly. Great guy. When manager Jessika arrived she informed me the bag was found by Leon last night. I am absolutely thrilled at Leon's honesty! Absolute professionals and rockstars.

My faith in humanity has been restored.

As far as the hotel goes, I would have to give it 5* stars as well. I can't imagine you need more for a place next to the airport. Giant brand new room that felt like an apartment- kitchen, living room, seperate bedroom and giant bathroom. All brand new and in impecable condition.

I am forever grateful to this amazing team and sure I will remember this experience for years to come!!

I'm a Marriott elite member and have been staying at Marriott properties for decades. Love the Residence Inn for spacious rooms, full kitchens, free parking at most locations. Great staff. Consistent service & amenities.

I had a very nice and pleasant check-in experience with Mary. When I first arrived, she was busy with multiple phones but acknowledged me and said she would be with me shortly. After quickly managing the phones, she turned to me and she didn't seem frazzled or overwhelmed. She explained the hotel and the surrounding dinning and fitness options. During my stay, all of the staff I interacted with seemed very nice and pleasant.

The hotel offers complimentary happy hour food and drinks and there are plenty of seating throughout the dinning and lobby area. There's also additional seating outside on the patio.

There is a daily parking charge that didn't seem like it could be avoided.

Loved the spacious clean room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff will grocery shop for you free of charge. Can't get any better than that. The health and fitness center is a real gym! Enjoying our stay.

let me say it this Marriott was pretty good. I can't in all honesty say that my experience was the best that it could have possibly been. There was some issues in upon checking in that kind of had us in a tizzy. But ultimately ended up working it out. I love the setup of having all of the Marriott hotels in one location and sharing a very updated workout facility and swimming area. The location is right about a mile from the airport and they offer free transportation to and from the airport so that's great. Also the free breakfast that they offer is not strictly Continental it is a full spread which I love to. They offered waffles eggs a meat bagels toast cereal oatmeal grits whatever you want. the staff is nice for the most part even though the Uber drivers in the area seemed to be a little bit rood. We use a transportation service that they offered to our cruise port and it was a horrible experience but after using they notified us that it was a third party and they no longer enlisted that service. But after that we had a great experience the rooms are spacious and very up today everything was lovely would definitely stay there again.
