I brought my cat Cinnamon in because he hurt his paw. Dr Metzger and her assistant Sharon were wonderful and immediately spotted the problem and fixed him up in no time at all. I think he really appreciated the gentle care they provided him. He purred all the way home! Thank you Sharon & Dr Metzger!

The staff here is so sweet and welcoming! I always have a great experience with them. The true super star here is Yvette! I have been coming here for several years and received her help for a variety of things. She is beyond attentive and caring of my dog. It is heartwarming and truly rare to encounter someone with so much love for animals as she does. If you want your pet to always have the best experience at the vet, come here and request Yvette’s services. We can’t thank her enough for all she’s done!

Back for the first time in a couple years and they were great. My 10year old Chihuahua usually has to get muzzled and coned but Dr Fernandez and the nurse Shannon were so great she didn't need either one.
VCA has always been great and now with Dr Fernandez and Shannon I can go feeling even more comfortable knowing my dog didn't have to get muzzled. Definitely not going to try another place again and I'm sticking with VCA.

Simmons Animal Hospital will always be our family veterinary. Yvette De Sosa is wonderful. Very thorough explaining the issues my pet has experienced. Detailed descriptions of my pets health problems. Never leaves questions unanswered. Overall great experience every time. I have absolutely no complaints on the care she has provided my fur baby. Thank you!

(I left my initially review below to show the concerns I had. )
I have to say I am very impressed with how this company addressed my concerns
I usually don’t change a review, but they put forth a huge effort to clarify my concerns.

I received phone calls from both the manager on the hotel as well as the vet side to reconcile the issues.
A lot of the issues were miscommunication and they apologized profusely and tried to offer solutions
While some things were not correctable at this point they did do the best they could with the situation.
My original plan was to seek out another vet and find another boarding place, but I really felt like the staff genuinely cared and wanted to make things better or make things right

It’s been my past experience that you write a review and it doesn’t go anywhere. But that was not the case with this company
I feel like they all really love the place that they work and and care about their clients (both the people and pets)
For that reason I will be giving this place a 2nd chance and hope to write a future great review
My neighbors love this place as I said before and highly recommended them. I can see why. Despite the fact we got off to a rough start they really took every action they could to make to Better
I am hopeful that this will be a great place for us.

Do not bring your pet here!!!!!!
We took our huskie/Shepard 16 month old dog/puppy here for boarding
We were told he needed to be in between 7-12 to be seen by the vet for updated vaccines and a wellness check first
After 5 phone calls and 9 hours of sitting in the vet side I finally spoke to a tech who said he was being trialed in the playground
Never got a call from the vet
My son got a call from another tech to say he was too much for the other dogs and wouldn’t be allowed out for play the rest of the boarding with the other dogs
I was also told there would be a link to check photos . Not a single shot of him
No updates from any of the staff
I picked him up after 3 days
Still had to ask how is vet visit went only to be told that his hookworm test was positive
Thank god I asked
Never started him on meds or recommended treatment
They would have let me go home with no treatment
So 700 dollars later my dog is finally home
Could have paid for a private dog walker and he would have gotten better treatment
I opted for this place for socialization and he got none of that
Which is a real shame because we have neighbors who take there dog here and highly recommend them
Definitely a disappointment and put a strain on our trip being worried about him

Our dog has been attending VCA Simmons Animal Hospital since she was a puppy. During one of our visits we met the best vet tech ever! Her name is Yvette!! Visits to VCA had been very stressful for us for several years mainly due to the way the professionals interact with our dog. Thanks to Yvette we no longer dread going to VCA. Yvette is amazing with dogs and her love of animals comes through. She is gentle and kind. She takes her time and really makes us feel heard, understood and respected. Most importantly she makes our dog feel at ease. Our dog is terrified of being at the vet and for good reason! Well Yvette has completely changed this for us. Yvette has a magical way about her and is definitely a "Dog Whisperer". VCA Simmons Animal Hospital is lucky to have Yvette and because of her work we will continue with VCA. Thank you Yvette for being YOU!!!

Amazing crew!!!! Helped my fur baby in an emergency! Listened and took all our concerns into consideration. Even had a doctor reach out to us the next day on their day off on their text app, they answered my questions all day and scheduled a procedure for my kitty the next day.

Taking my cat here at VCA Simmons for last 9 years and happy with staff and treatments. Tried other vets and regret it. I like to specially thank Doctor Neger and his assistant Evette for my last visit. They both truly are caring and professional

For all the times that I have been going to VCA in Simmons I have always appreciated the kindness and compassion of the staff members and the helpfulness. This particular time I would like to comment on Matt who took care of Celica my dog and myself on July 5th. Matt went beyond and is helpfulness since I use a walker and did not have it with me at the time so not only did Celica get treated very well I did personally thanks to him again

I had the recent very stressful experience of my dog having a relapse of IMHA(an immune disorder where she destroys her own red blood cells) just a few weeks before my sister’s out of town wedding. She needs 7 medications administered at specific times, and not all together, some liquids, some pills, some with food, some on an empty stomach, and needs a blood test every 2-3 days while in an active relapse. I was recommended to try medical boarding at Simmons by my specialist Mini sees for her IMHA. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were while I was away for 3 days. They sent me several photos of her daily, with updates about what she was up to and how she was doing, and sent me her blood test results to say she was doing just fine. They made sure she had plenty of attention and interaction with people since she had to be isolated from other dogs the whole time. What was a very scary situation for me turned out amazing, and I plan to transfer all 3 of my dogs from my current vet to here soon. They really went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be more happy and grateful for the care Mini received there.

This is the best place to go to! I have been here for years to get my dog’s nails trimmed and other services by Yvette. She is the absolute BEST! She is so amiable and my dog trusts her so much, which says the most. If my dog is healthy and happy, so am I. I will always appreciate Yvette and the rest of the staff for being so friendly and knowledgeable.

We have been going to get our dogs nails trimmed for years there only because of Ivette. She is so kind and does such a great job of truly trimming his nails. Our dog behaves so well with her. She is so friendly and welcomes us with so much love every time. I definitely recommend her for all your dogs needs.

Brought my boy Ben, goldendoodle, in to see Dr. Bregman today for his checkup and vaccines, Dr Bregman was incredible with Ben as always and on top of his health! Must say thank you to the vet tech Shannon, she was amazing with him! Ben is very nervous at the Vet and waiting in the exam room. Shannon was so great with him and helped to put him at ease. He became calm with her to let her take his temp & heart rate. He was comfortable with her when she needed to take him away from me for bloodwork. Shannon was very thorough during the pre exam explaining everything to me and going through what to expect. During checkout she double checked with me all was correct. Very grateful!

I have been a loyal client at this vet clinic for over 15 years, and my experience has consistently been excellent. Yvette, in particular, stands out with her exceptional care and expertise with animals. Her dedication has made her my favorite vet tech. I appreciate the consistent quality of service at this clinic. Highly recommended!

My elderly dog is getting the Librela shots, thanks to the wonderful Yvette De Sosa. She was the one that administered the shot and this has helped her in incredible ways with her movement and energy. Again, this is all due to the wonderful technician, Yvette De Sosa, that brought this medicine to my attention and explained to me the benefits of it. Even if I were to find it on my own, I would not have been able to understand it as well as I did with her.

I recently visited VCA Simmons Animal Hospital and we were pleasantly impressed. We took our 8-week-old puppy for vaccinations and because he had an irritation in one eye.
Dr. Bregman and Yvette did an excellent job. Yvette explained everything to us very well they use cheese for vaccines my puppy don’t felling anything Yvette was very profesional and knowledgeable.

Very nice and clean. Staff where absolutely amazing! They have a beautiful great woman there by the name of Kate. She was absolutely great with me and my dog. They worked with me with my budget. I definitely will be making this our new vet. I highly recommend. Thank you to the doctor and to Kate.

Hi guys, since I got my coco puppy about 5 years ago I am a client of VCA Simmons animal hospital where I did all the immunizations with Dr.
Bregman within the Care club plan.
Later Coco needed an eye surgery and we became patients of Dr.
Mackenzie, also excellent. During all this time attending the clinic I have counted on the help of nurse Yvette de Sosa who has always been very important since she always explains everything to us because, actually, I wasn’t familiar to pets and she love them so much that makes look everything easy with them, all the health problems that my dog ​​has had she is being patient and caring, she is always there to listen and give a hand and advices.

I wanted to take a moment to HIGHLY recommend the groomer at vca Tina. Tina provides top tier service and provides a wealth of knowledge with dogs. We are so happy Vca provides grooming. A kind thank you Tina, you have my boy looking like a super star. We have received so many compliments.

Everyone is always so kind. I’ve had some bad experiences at other vets in the area, but VCA comes through each time from the bed tech Yvette to the doctors and the front desk staff. They are A1.
