The Old Fish House Bar and Grill

This was our 2nd visit within the year , food was consistently excellent! Last visit was simple burgers and fries ( absolutely amazing ) with perfect service!
This time Ahi appetizer, plated with perfection ! I had tortellini seafood pasta - the homemade garlic sauce I could drink by the glass ☺ the hubby had the shrimp special for Monday nights lightly batterd and Fried to perfection ! My drink was a house made white sangria that definitely did not disappoint! Waitress- didn’t catch her name but she was definitely experienced ( short blonde hair) she was perfect and she was training someone new! Can’t wait to return ( mainly for another plate of Ahi 😊 and a glass of White Sangria)

My Little Princess had the shrimp platter with plantains and Turkey noodle soup. I selected the classic burger with Cole slaw and black bean soup.

The service was excellent as was our food. We sat outside enjoying the waterfront view. A welcomed find as we traveled down the coast.

My second visit. Sorry about the half eaten photo, but the fried green tomato was irresistible! Love the fries and hush puppies with guva butter .

The Fresh Fish market at The Old Fish House is now open Fri Sat Sun with oysters, tuna, red fish is my today's treat to blacken with Paul Prudhomme's seasonings, and 4 grades of crab meats. Super excited to find lump crab meat to make crab bisque. Eating at The Fish House is always a treat but now I can break in my new Weber grill. My family came for Thanksgiving and The Fish House cooked our fish for us. It started a new Thanksgiving tradition.

Food was yummy, fresh! I had large butterflied fried shrimp basket coming with one side of fries. Fries were cooked yummy crispy, but needed salt. Cocktail sauce was excellent! Husband had gorgeous extra cheese burger!!
Need more help. Our server ran around for too long. Took a while between drink order and menu order, and the poor bartender helped get our bill paid. The dolphins and pelicans playing over the water atmosphere was amazing, so we were easily amused and the music was great!
We'll be back for more for sure!!

The service from D was over the top. The food was so very good! Some special combos, their coco nut slaw WAY better than I thought it would be (and it sounded good from the start).

The fish fry special, their tartar sauce, hushpuppies and their crispy fries.. wow wow and wow.

In short if you haven't been and you in the area or passing through I doubt you will be disappointed.

Enjoyed my first visit here and sat at the inside bar as it was chilly and windy afternoon. Service was excellent and friendly and prices were very reasonable considering it’s a waterfront location. Large outdoor seating area that I will check out on a warmer afternoon. The chicken tender basket was delicious and a really nice sized portion with plenty of fries.

We had dinner at the old Fish House restaurant last night with family that came to town that we have not seen for 50 years. We did arrive just 30 minutes before closing, not my usual restaurant etiquette. From the time we arrived until our late exit, everyone was friendly and helpful. The service could not have been better. As usual, the food was amazing. Wanted to thank everyone that helped make our short, sweet family reunion a great experience . We will be back soon.

This is a hidden gem, for sure! We had the Fried Green Tomato stacks and seared tuna appetizers. Portions were healthy and absolutely delicious. Our server, Ben, was wonderful and knowledgeable. We will be back soon. Absolutely delicious and a great atmosphere!!!

The food is good, the service was ok. Kept habibg to ask server for stuff that were missing, like napkins, silverware, water. Maybe she was new. Overall, the food was good. They have the best guava cheesecake there and is a nice place to eat and relax by the water.

Was a very fun place to eat! Our server was so good and so funny and the food was wonderful. We highly recommend this venue, right on the bay, cool views.

This was our 1st time. The shrimp and mahi baskets are delicious. We also tried fried oysters 😋. You have to try it. The service was 5 star. Definitely going back again and the view is great.

Love this place. VERY Relaxed atmosphere. We usually bring our pups after boating and sit on the patio. They even have a pup menu. My favorite is the basket of blackened shrimp and the island slaw. The specials are great. The staff is always friendly.

Best Conch Fritters! Thoroughly enjoyed their take on the conch fritter!!! Blackened Snapper was delishous. I paired it with beans and rice and avocado. Washed it all down with sweet tea which was sweetened just right. Definetly check them out.

We have been here so many times & every single time we have had great food! We love the house made Tatar sauce. Definitely a place we love going back to again & again!

Picked up lunch to our way to Mc Kee Botanical Garden in Vero.
- Staff were wearing masks.
- addtl 15% was charged to your bill so the wait staff can get extra pay which I really liked ❤
- calamari had just the right amount of breading and was perfectly cooked
- 1513 side salad was unique and very tasty heavy on the olive flavors. It didn’t look that great as the lettuce looked drenched maybe they can use less dressing next time
- hubby got the chicken club sandwich and the fries that came with his food were OMG amazing. I daydream about the fries LOL. Hubby said the sandwich was pretty good, chicken was cooked perfectly.

The rest of the menu looked delish, I’ll be back one day for dinner.

Great meal. Had the Black and Bleu burger.... 🍔......was fantastic! Waterside dining for all you bohemians and Bahama breeze enthusiasts.

Jodi was amazing 🙌🙌🙌The food was incredible. I loved the chicken club and the fries. The Hushpuppies were to die for!!!! That guava butter!!!! What????? Best hidden jem on the east coast.

This unassuming, rustic looking restaurant has really delicious food! Don't let the casual environment throw you. First I ordered the 1513 salad which had such a nice tangy dressing. The husband then got the fire roasted muscles in a savory sauce - so tender and delectable! I got the blackened mahi tacos that came with a bit of guacamole and a side of yellow rice and black beans. So many nice flavors blended together and it was a fabulous lunch. You can't beat the view of the water too.

This is a beautiful place to eat real Florida waterfront seafood locals.
With a crowd.
Of well put together people.
