The cornbread and samplers in the beginning really make choosing difficult but also provides clarity. First time at a vegan restaurant that I can taste the proteins to ensure I order what would best please my palate. The lemonade is AMAZING. I don’t even like lemonade to be honest but it was freshly made and I had to try it and it was probably my best decision. I got the Burger and fries. It was great! Fries cooked perfectly and the “burger” was flavorful.

Please visit this restaurant!!! I'm glad I was able to find it on a quick trip to Jacksonville for a ceremony. The service is unmatched!! Our waitress was very thorough and went over everything with us. I had the "rib" po boy and my friend had the Philly "cheese steak". Both were delicious. My favorite are the cornbread muffins!! Amazing!!! The fresh blueberry lavender tea has the best flavor!! I would give this place a million stars if I could!! Keep up the awesome work Kravegan. I will definitely be back!

I did an UberEats order. I got the Chikn dinner plate and based on the reviews on here, ordered the black eyed peas, greens and cornbread as well as meat samples. Everything was a 10/10. I started with the meat samples and devoured them. I usually eat meals in two parts. I thought I’d have leftovers. I ate it all. I was so ravenous, I almost at the foil. So glad this was in the comfort of my hotel and not in a public setting. I’m sure people would’ve been horrified to see how I was eating everything. I’ve been plant based for over 3 months now. Just kind of fell into the lifestyle. I’ve really been enjoying the changes in my body and health. This restaurant is amazing and I’m so glad I’ll have a place to come to when I’m here for work. Chef’s kiss.

A perfect choice to celebrate Valentine’s Eve for dinner and right before a concert next door! Staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. Special shoutout to Latasha, Lew, Erin and their entire staff during my first visit!

I sat at the bar to be as close to the great odor of food eminating from the kitchen! That very first bite from the corn bread onto the cucumber salad simply began a wonderful journey for my palate. Followed by the delicious vegan mac then the smoked Kravyback Ribz…Oh My…Deliciosostyle!!! Can’t wait to visit again for another fresh, savory and healthy meal!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted and we got to try some of their varying plant based meats to help us decide we wanted to get. The hibiscus tea is also very tasty. It’s a little sweet for me but once it watered down some, I fully

What a great find! The food, customer service, pricing , location , music, and ambiance was excellent. They give you samples (no charge ) to start along with free cucumber water. They have so many delicious options on the menu to chose from. The owner even came out and greeted us . A wonderful inviting experience and each time that I am in Jacksonville I will be sure to return.

This is plant-based cooking was a real southern flair. The free cornbread and samples of their three signature meats are a very nice touch. Everyone was so friendly and the chefs stopped by to answer any questions and educate us about the entries.

I wish more places like this one existed! I don't eat meat and while I'm not 100% vegan, I always enjoy vegan comfort food, because I find it way more tastier than the original recipes. I ordered BBQ roast with mac & cheese and black eyed peace and each item was absolutely delicious, so well seasoned. I dream of a day when vegan mac & cheese becomes a staple in restaurants, it's so much better than the regular one made of instant processed whatever. I got a take out, but I wished I had more time, because the restaurant has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. And there's even a stage for live music! It's an amazing place and I highly recommend it.

Excellent service and food. It was our first time and they let us try samples of each of their home made plant based proteins. We got the Mongolian Unbeef BBQ Potato Skins, Smoked Kravyback Ribz, and Fried Chickn dinner. Sides of mac, collard greens, dirty rice, and black eyed peas. All were delicious and the proteins had great texture. Very filling and reasonably priced.

Within a minute of being there, I was greeted by a very cute person and given free cornbread and samples of three of their outrageously tasty meats that are made of actual plants instead of just soy and/or gluten. Truly unique and creative plant-based cooking here, but with a traditional soul food flavor.

The easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given 👏🏼 staff was incredible, so friendly and brought us several samples before ordering. Food was 10/10! I love the vegan twist on some southern foods. Everything is made in house and packs a flavorful punch. Thanks for having us!

First and foremost, the staff was incredibly personable. Octavia, our server, made us feel right at home: got to know our names, offered us sample plates of 3 "meats" and corn muffins, answered all of our menu questions, as well as provided recommendations of her own. The friendly restaurant owner checked on us as we were dining.
My party shared buffalo loaded fries which hit my "junk food" spot so well! I ordered the Krabcake on Mac: I have never had a chance to try vegan fish before, but they nailed it! The consistency was perfect, just the right length of spice/zing, and drizzled with a tasty, tangy sauce. The Mac did not disappoint... definitely a comfort food. While I am familiar with vegan food, my friends who joined me are less exposed to plant-based eating, but they, too, really liked their dishes!
My only complaint is that I live in another state and am only in Jacksonville temporarily visiting friends, but I would definitely frequent Kravegan if I was local to the area! I really hope to return and try more of their menu options: this is a place that knows what they're doing when it comes to preparing hearty, tasty vegan food. 10/10 definitely recommend for vegans and non-vegans alike! #Veganuary

Love the KraVegan food truck, love the restaurant site even more. The food is amazing and more than once you will question “Is it vegan or did they slip me some real chicken” :)

The location is great for a quick lunch and there is a bar area to eat at, which is perfect if you are dining alone. I normally get my food to go, mostly do I can work through lunch at my desk.

But the food, you want to hear about the FOOD:

Black Eyed Peas - some of the best I have ever had.
Mac n Cheese - texture is amazing, flavor profile is just not for me. That okay, I can order more black eyed peas.
Fries - really crispy, really good.
Chik’n Gravy - really solid, sometimes I order a side to dip my fries in - (hey, don’t judge)
Chik’n Sandwich - so good and DELICIOUS it has texture similar to Real chicken.
Chik’n Dinner - another solid choice, smothered in amazing gravy.

Note;: I am not a huge spicy person, so I avoid some of their hotter dishes. However, one of my close friends loves their spicy dishes.

Had the chicken tacos made from jackfruit. Better than any chicken taco I’ve ever had. Super dope atmosphere. I’m definitely gonna be a regular here

Update!! The menu has expanded and the food is even better than when I first ate here 2 years ago! New location is great with ample parking. Service is amazing as well! Come support this local business!

Amazing food! I had the jackfruit chicken sandwich with a side of collard greens. One of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten and the greens were incredibly tasty but not oily! This restaurant is proof that you can eat delicious food and still be healthy.

Atmosphere, Service and Food is AMAZING....MY GAWD....my hubby and I came from Jersey and would come back again and again!! Best vegan food I've had hands down....must try...run...get there...you wont be sorry...here are a few picks so u know it's no game at Kravegan...we left in a coma with a weekend worth of food to take with us while in Florida/Georgia...we only sorry they wont be open on our way going home on Sunday...how dare they close on the Lords Day!! 😂😂😂 Great Job to the owners Latasha and Lew....sky is the limit for sure!!

This place is really special. The customer service is only rivaled by the delicious food here. I've been to my share of soul food vegan restaurants, but it's rare to see so many options made with wholefood based ingredients. The restaurant is family owned, and the pride they put in their food goes without notice. My only complaint is that I'm out of town and I don't have a restaurant like this close by. I will visit here every time I'm in Jacksonville.

Baby!!!! Is all I can say!!! I live in California (Bay Area) and when I go back to Florida again I will eat her again. Mongolian Unbeef is SUPER GOOD. That cornbread taste like it’s homemade!!! Black eyed peas on point and the greens!!!! Plus this food has no soy or plant based pre made products in it. It is truly all plant based.
The Mac and cheese was not my favorite but it is flavorful. But you be your own judge. BLACK OWNED!!!! ✔ Check them out when you are in the Jacksonville area of Florida or any where in Florida. You won’t be disappointed!!!! ENJOY!!!
