This place was AWESOME! We enjoyed following the blue mountain trail through the entire park and trying some of the features. This park has something for everyone! Highly recommend this place!

So I am a fairly fit 54 and my wife the same at 62. We like to adventure so we heard about Mala Compra and it sounded fun! The parking lot is next to the beach and you need to bike a bit to the front to start, giving you a good warm up. Single lane trail, well maintained. Even after the rain it wasn’t muddy at all. Moderate level trail with some great man made and natural technical skill challenges. All skill challenges have bike around paths so you can avoid. Great curves and build up banking switch backs provide a thrilling ride. The length was 5.5 miles and a good workout. We didn’t have helmets but highly recommend. It was hot and I wished I had gloves. The trail was flat for the most part. So if you can handle a bit of rough terrain this is a great trail. There several trails that you can take called the Hammock ‘something’ and Cloud Nine. These were more technical trails we by-past that sounded above our level. Overall a fantastic time!! Highly recommend.

My favorite trail in North Florida..there is something to do for all skill levels. Cloud nine is one of the most challenging trails around, I feel like a better mtber everytime I visit this place. You can choose to bypass the cloud nine section altogether and the rest of the single track is intermediate blue with a mix of roots and wooden features. Graham and Mala are a must check out for the avid mtb rider.

Hidden gem!!! Trails are maintained great, technical features are suited to all levels of riders. Won’t get you frustrated, but still enough to get your heart racing a little. Not to mention the BBQ place across the street at Bings Landing is a great lunch spot. Did this trail in the afternoon after doin Graham Swamp in the morning. Both trails are great!!

Solid trail. Great use of natural terrain. Nice man made features throughout. I personally thought cloud 9 was going to be more intense, it’s not too big of a deal, most anyone should be comfortable here.

To the people commenting that it’s over rated and too lame, I understand, but this is Florida and I’m sure you have not showed up to volunteer to make improvements, either.

BBQ - couldn’t convince my youth rider, so I can’t comment. Darn, but it was like 95 degrees when we were riding.

First time to this trail and I have to say it was pretty fun. Lots of different features for different skill levels. Some good XC style mixed with some technical that I had to walk. And you can end your ride right at the beach.

A family friendly trail in the general section. Cloud 9 in the back is awesome for advanced riders and those aspiring to improve. There is a lot of rock in places and you might want to bring protective pads to be safe.

Park across the street at the BBQ joint and cross the road to get to the trail entrance.
You can also ride to the beach from this trail, which makes it the most unique trail I have visited in Florida yet.

About 6 miles of trail, most flat with nice turns except for a optional 1 mile section called cloud nine. Cloud nine has bridges, a series of short but in some cases steep inclines and declines with lots of roots and one rather large optional rock wall drop and a jump track as well. The trail runs along the road on the way there and slightly away from the road on the return. Bugs are not usually too bad and temps generally run a few degrees cooler compared to nearby trails since it's closer to the beach.

We stayed at the Hammock Bech Resort and this was a nice little 5.5 mile loop to do each day. There are several wooden bridge features for the advanced rider you can choose to take, but most of the trail is a fairly mild blue. Great little loop if you’re in the area.

Great place for a quick ride! There are great man made and natural obstacles to ride for a challenge, or take the bypass if you are still learning. Our 9 year old son has done a great job learning to ride here and watching me take on the harder portions.

Mala Compra is now the house for one of the turtles belonging to the iconic trail. JULES 🐢
The turtle trail is a beautiful and meaningful expression of art unique to Palm Coast. It was created to honor different subjects from the arts to the sports and the science. A must see 🐢🏝

Good option for North East Florida. The intermediate trail is good for beginners because you can bypass the harder features but add them once you build up to it. The trail is well marked and the cloud 9 advanced section is certainly a challenging skills progressing area.

One of the best MTB loops close in to Palm Coast. While you are cycling around this park you will forget that you are so close to A1A and the beach. This is old Florida at it's best. Definitely make this a stop. Three basic Trails, the outer loop for cruiser bikes, the intermediate inner loop & the expert inner loop. You can bypass the expert obstacles in most areas. Be safe and have fun. Cuontheroad
