I have been visiting this place for years now and everytime I go, it looks different. Unfortunately, it appears that a lot of the rocks have been covered by either the rising tide or sand over time--for that, it's better to go during low tide(in the morning). But the rocks on this beach are absolutely stunning at anytime. I have never seen any beach in Florida like this--it's definitely worth the visit and $5 entry fee. It's not too busy either, making it a hidden gem. If you're looking for a place to swim, you would likely be better off at Crescent Beach, however. While it's not impossible to swim here, I'd be concerned about the rocks in the water and along the shore.

Great parking spot with quick access to the beach. Washington Oaks parking pass covers this location as well. Beautiful beach walk with natural coquina outcrop jutting into the waves.

This is an amazing beach. And perfect if you want to escape the packed, busy, overcrowded beaches with loud music and the smell of weed. Parking was easy and not at all crowded due to rocks not allowing for crazy swimming games, surfing, etc. But if you want to take a dip, enjoy the sun and see firsthand the beauty this beach offers, I say come check it out at least once. I stopped at the end of a day after being on Flagler. Perfect way to unwind with a bit of solitude.

This is a stunning area, and so unique and special in its own aspect. There are tons of shells all over to search through, found a couple keepers. The rocks are super cool and once you walk over to them they go on as far as the eye can see, no joke. They are really fun to walk across and watch the ocean waves hit them, it’s so mesmerizing and tranquil, I loved just standing there and soaking it all in with the sun shining down. Add in the other wonders of Washington Oaks SP on the other side of the road and it makes for an amazing, scenic trip!

Nice stretch of beach but there is no lifeguard nor a good place for swimming here due to the coquina rocks. Also, there is only 1 portable toilet in the small parking lot

If your in too RC mini 1/18 1/24 scale RC trucks. This the spot for you. Plenty of Rock formations to drive on. Be prepared it's hard lines. You will need your tool kit lol 😆 minis only no 1/10 them truck to big.

Love this beach. Quick access from parking and the sand mat definitely makes pulling beach stuff and babies a lot easier

Very nice beach. I'm obsessed with the tide pools. Family had a difficult time talking me into leaving. Definitely going back.

Absolutely gorgeous. Being a Southwest Florida resident I found the north east a much nicer and more desirable place to be.

My family and I visited this incredible place on 7/1/23
Being a West Coast girl who’s heart belongs to California I have to say I’ve made room to add this place. The water temperature was truly perfection, the walk from the parking area to the actual water was 3 min max. I couldn’t believe that the parking fee was only 5$ for such convenience. There were dunes that had blocked off areas where Sea Turtles laid eggs!! It was so cool to see that so many people care and are respectful to the wildlife there. After all we are visiting their home ✨

I highly recommend walking down the beach to the left after entering towards the rocks, just trust me you won’t regret it. We will definitely be back! The beach was empty, I don’t know if we just got lucky or what but it was not a highly populated area which I loved most! The memories made that day are unforgettable.

A special thank you to all that dedicate their time to making this place a safe, fun and truly magical place to visit.

Ocean carved rocks, gorgeous sand, crashing waves, and a touch of Sunshine. Beach therapy at its finest.

A Florida Gem. On one side of the road is a beautiful beach with out of the ordinary rock formations allowing waves to crash right over them. On the other side, a amazing botanical garden with tons of roses. Nice spot to spend a few hours.

Beautiful beach that feels so private. It’s not busy and there’s no tall condos nearby. Parking is close tot he entrance path. You pay $5 to get in and it includes access to the park across the street. It’s a very peaceful, natural environment. We could climb on the rocks all day. It’s so fun to explore there. We found lots of seashells too. My favorite central Florida beach by far.

Love these rocks! Such a great place to take photos. Only downside is I took my mom here to show her them when she came to visit, after we had already paid and got into the parking lot there was a sign on the ramp to the beach saying dogs weren’t allowed. So I stayed back with her pup so she could go see the rocks. Wish they would post a sign farther back to let people know before they’re almost there.
