Gretna Laundry Land Laundromat

This is my usual place to do laundry every 2 weeks. It is convenient to post office, supermarkets, and other stores. This time, I DID NOT see any broken machines. The floor was clean and everything in its place. Oh yes, recently, they painted lines in the parking lot. A clean, safe environment, in my senior citizen mind. UPDATE 4-5-23 If I were to give this place a review today, I would give it a 1, at the most. It was busy at 8 am . Instead of parking neatly in the marked spaces they were parked any which way. On top of that some was visiting a patron and the visitors truck blocked the drive for a good period of time. I realize that there is little that the establishment can do about what happens outside. However, it makes more doddicult for someone, like me, who has walking issues. THe ReAlL pRoBLeEM was inside with the largest available washer on the end apparently washed the closes but didn't spin dry them. I am not happy.

Well, we moved to gretna 18 months ago, I have an apartment sized washer i just dont want to replace until i have to. When i go visit my sons in Raleigh i usually bring my king sized bedspread to wash bc it wont fit in my old apartment sized washer.
By chance enroute to the post office, I saw the laundry mat. I thought next time I go to the po I will just bring that bedspread and peak in. If its dirty, I will keep going....
But was I ever surprised when I walked in! It smelled so clean, and there was an employee on site, cleaning the insides of all the washers!!! He was also very helpful when I asked him what sized washer he thought I'd need. The floors were spotless.
The prices were very reasonable and most importantly it's very clean and I got a very safe feeling with real attendants on duty. Some businesses dont hire them and then clothes get stolen and the place is dirty. People that hire attendants on site, care enough not just about their own investments, but about their customers needs and get my repeat business. It was very clean inside(onsite great attendant) and parking was adequate. There were machines in case one wanted snacks, or soap products. I wont need to go to Raleigh anymore to do my larger items!👏👏👏👏👏

I've been going here about 3 wks now & have been rather pleased. There are minimal "broken machines", there's a change machine & has been an attendant on duty each time I've gone. For a laundromat...it is very clean! Draw backs: 5min on the driers for 25 cents & they're about a quarter more for triple loaders however, it's been worth the extra $1or so that I've spent on laundry to know I'm at a clean place, my clothes are clean & DRIED.

Attendant on duty (very kind & courteous) keeps it neat & clean. Change machine available, driers run hot... only draw back is they're only 5min for a quarter. However, after feeding another's drier $1 that gave me 7min each & laundry still wasn't dry...I'm good w/the 5min & hot driers.

There always seems to be a washer or dryer broke. Or you lose money in one of the machines.
