AC Hotel by Marriott St. Louis Central West End

I've stayed at autograph collection hotels but this surpassed my stays at 5 star hotels because of the staff. From the valet to front desk, they all were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of the workers remembered my name throughout the entire 4 night stay. It was a very nice touch.

Hotel was awesome, breakfast in the morning was great too. The workers were very nice especially Will who went out of his way to make us some fresh coffee when we came down towards the end of breakfast.

I want to give a shoutout to AJ the cook. My wife and I don’t eat meat and AJ had already a beautiful spread of fruit and other tasty smorgasbord. AJ came out and ensured we had everything we could ask for including cooked to order waffles which were some of the best I ever had anywhere. Will the host and server made it all possible.

The staff at this hotel made my first trip to St Louis extremely memorable. From the valet to the front desk and even the housekeeping staff, everyone did a phenomenal job! I must give extra special recognition to Deandria Walker and Kemicz Mitchell, both of whom went above and beyond to make sure that my every need was met. Thanks Ladies for making my trip better than it would have been!

Love this hotel in a very cute section of St Louis. AJ and Will took good care of me at breakfast every morning with good food and great service. And the waffles are 🔥🔥🔥!!!

Outstanding in every way! Let me start by saying I am VERY difficult to please, ...and this hotel did not disappoint. I stayed here for 2 weeks so I saw a lot of how it is run. And this by far is the best managed hotel I’ve ever been. From the moment I arrived the valet Chris greeted me with an authentic and sincere welcome. He was especially professional, kind, helpful, and considerate. And it didn’t stop there. Neenee, Markiesha, and Keith, at the front desk were constant rainbows and sunshine. Genuine smiles, and heartfelt greetings. Any issues or questions were addressed immediately with unfeigned delight. Housekeeping was also outstanding. While I didn’t interact with them often, they were always sweet and eager to help in any way. The hotel was spotless and the entire department clearly takes pride in their work. Great service is rarer than ever these days, but somehow this hotel hasn’t missed a beat. The beds are dreamy and the linens a higher quality than expected. The area is walkable, safe and friendly. The highway is not far, so getting out to other areas of the city is a breeze.

I highly recommend.

While most tournament “stay to play” facilities are drastically discrepant from personal hotel preferences, the AC by Marriott was a joyful exception from the norm. Clean rooms, upscale feel, fabulous/safe location and a friendly and competent staff. Anthony welcomed us each afternoon and wished us immense luck each morning. We would absolutely choose to stay here again; kudos!

We used the AC Hotel by Marriott CWE for our wedding block and couldn't have been happier. The hotel itself is gorgeous with modern finishes. The rooms were clean and all of the staff were friendly. All of our out of town guests loved the location!

Stopped in St.Louis for one night on a roadtrip. The location was great for our stay, valet was prompt, and the service of the front desk staff was top notch. The hotel is in a walkable and very safe location, room was very clean, and bed was comfy! However, Nini at the front desk is who truly made the experience. Not only was she extremely genuine and friendly, she was there at both check in and check out (get this girl a vacation!) and she went above and beyond to help with the only issue I had there. (I booked the room with credit card points and there was an issue with being double charged due to something in the system, and Nini went out of her way to call and follow up multiple times after we’d checked out to see if she could be of any more help, even though the issue was not on her end but something with the card’s travel site from my understanding. She even offered to call the card company herself). We weren’t expecting to love St.Louis or this hotel as much as we did, but we were pleasantly surprised and would love to come back soon!

I spent four nights at this hotel. It was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The most outstanding aspect of the hotel was the personnel. From the front desk to the valet, all were outstanding. There are some great restaurants within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I LOVE this hotel as it’s so well organized in the room to make unpacking and spreading out all your stuff really easy. The bedroom furniture is super well organized, as there’s lots of surface areas, desk, couch, and tons of countertop space in bathroom. Microwave and mini fridge are so helpful too. The fireplace lounge lobby is fabulous and the bar is inviting. You feel like you’re in a fancy, large, comfortable living room that you actually want to spend time in.
Location is excellent too, with lots of bars, restaurants, coffee shops very close by, the Whole Foods being especially convenient.

Update: My room was never cleaned, even though the rooms around me were. It took two phones, a message on the app chat and three hours just to get clean towels. Very disappointing. This place is amazing! The rooms are very clean, the entry is beautiful. The people are helpful and nice. The only issue is parking. I would use the lot across the street.

Nice hotel right next to WashU / BJC. They were very accommodating, I wanted some fizzy water for my stay and had it delivered via UberEats. They put it in their fridge and gave it to me on check in. I brought my own meal prepped food and they provided me with software and plates and a microwave. Everyone read really nice and the breakfast was good, coffee wasn't just Starbucks. It's a nice hotel, especially for a business traveler, very accommodating of my peculiarities.

Great location with wonderful and caring staff. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

This place exceeded my expectations. I do have status with this hotel line, so my review is a bit biased. However all of the staff were very kind, the room was very clean, and my room was upgraded when I arrived.

Overall I think if you can get a good price on this hotel then it would be worth it. You are very close to great dining, shopping, and things to do/ see. I did not feel unsafe during my stay here, and the gym was up to date. You can use the valet parking for 30$ a day, or use the parking garage across the street for a variable rate.

If I am ever back in STL, I will be staying here again.

Great hotel stay with incredibly friendly staff. The rooms are perfect for business travelers with great amenities.

I just stayed at this property over the Halloween 2022 weekend and it was great! Every single one of the staff we spoke with or encountered were wonderful - pleasant, helpful, and seemed to be enjoying themselves (which makes me feel good too!). The room was clean and comfortable with a great shower and bed. Location is nice as well; hotel staff were able to point us to several different places to eat within walking distance. Overall great experience.

Stayed for a night in the Central West End and really enjoyed this property. Reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area, safe neighborhood, very quiet at night. Not many (if any) late night dining options in the area which is surprising, but a great experience at the hotel! Front desk agents and valets were friendly and timely with service. Would definitely visit again.
