Riverfront Cafe

The food was wonder but the service was even better! We loved the fried asparagus. The seafood special was cooked perfectly! We were quickly seated and told the specials which all sounded amazing! I am very pleased the town has such a nice dining spot.

We arrived 15 minutes before closing time, on a Sunday. We hussled and they were all very nice. The buffet was very tasty.

Beautifully renovated building with nice open atmosphere. Extremely helpful friendly waitress. Menu has good variety and prices very reasonable. Had the oriental chicken salad and it was good.
Update: have returned 4 times since moving here. Like their burgers. Recently went about 1 pm on Sunday and it was very crowded with after church people. Even so, the noise level was tolerable and got my food half hour after arrival which seemed fast considering the large crowd. The crowd was much smaller by 1:30.
Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. This will definitely be my local favorite.

Amazing service, cute location and wonderful food! Ribeye was one of the best we have gotten from a restaurant and the mushroom Swiss burger was delicious!! Cheese fries were great too!!! Will come back!!

Very nice dining, most of the time, waitress on the spot. If they get busy, might wait a minute, great food.

We have had a very rough couple of past 4/5 years. Christmas was always the draw for our family. Last year was TERRIBLE (iykuk 😉) But this year must have been our 1st of hopefully many, many more to come!! We were taken so good care of by all the staff!!! WE WILL BE BACK ❤🎄⛄🎅🦌

THERE'S NO RIVER!!! Other than that it was EXCELLENT!!! That was the best salad I've ever had. The Riverfront dressing was great. The service was excellent. It is a beautiful building. That building is NOT on the riverfront though.

Our server was amazing and very knowledgeable about everything including the history of the restaurant. I wish I had heard her name. The potato rounds with ranch were delicious, but the sautéed onions on my burger were not very sautéed. Oh well. Thanks for being there.

If you are cruising down (or up) I81, and want to eat, go here. My expectations were low, but the burger and homemade chips were so amazingly fresh and tasty. Definitely worth the visit.

It was a little slow to get waited on at first but then it was great and the food was excellent. Definately will be back.

Excellent place to eat. Came off the interstate wanting something other than a wrap, a burger, hand to mouth food, and stumbled upon this gem. Got there 1/2 hour before closing and DIDNT KNOW IT. The staff was eager to seat me. It was "fried chicken buffet w lots of options". And the food pans were adequately full for late in the day. No complaints. It was really good. Well, more ppl came in, due to the weather turning foul on the Interstate, so they made MORE hot food for those customers. Again, I still didnt know they were closing. Not one hint from the staff. Happy people. I think they pump something in the Air and I'm ok if that's the case, but good crew. :) I ate like a Queen, but really enjoyed the small sweet treats at the end. I almost felt badly going for 2nds and then 3rds, but that's the thrill...everyone eventually ends up doing the same. (Its good cake!!) So, off I go to pay, ...staff was prepping to close register. "When do you close," I ask. Looks at watch, "Like 3 minutes ago". Truly amazed that the staff remained cheerful and kept us happy when they were about to go home. I did get a box of extra chicken I'd never expect at a normal "buffet", but...everyone was happy and here I am telling you about it. It is a neat place to stop, regardless. Skip the fast food and rush to this place. Good eats!

Perfect impromptu stop! Steak was cooked perfectly and the 7 people I was with all loved their dishes too. Will definitely be back when in the area!

I was here on Saturday, June 24th, 2023, and I had a great time. The burger with the grilled asparagus on the side was delicious, and our server Sydnee did an excellent job. I'm from Texas and I'm bummed I can't eat here more.

Friendly and attentive staff. We had chicken fried steak which was two smaller steaks with yummy breading cooked perfectly. My one son had baby gulf shrimp that he enjoyed, but the star of the show was definitely the Cajun chicken pasta. It was so good I ate half of my son’s portion. 🤣 Definitely glad we stopped here for lunch on our way through the mountains.
