Country food at its finest! Homemade biscuits amazing with raspberry jam. Service was great! Unique menu variety. Got French toast and veggie scramble. I’ll be back!

This place is usually full, and for good reason, it's an awesome breakfast place! Service is great, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is a step above. Even when it's busy, they work quickly to clean tables and get you seated fast. This is the place to come for breakfast/brunch in Folsom.

This is an exceptional place to go and eat food the atmosphere is outstanding the staff makes you feel like you are at home and their family. I started coming here about 2 years ago with my family for Christmas Eve brunch.

I am not from Folsom but as a visitor really liked coming here... I felt like I was getting the vibe of this area... Pleasant layout, fun decor, friendly staff... The food choices are plentiful and the food itself was awesome... And for me, having some one come by every 5 mins to top off my coffee was the icing on this cake of a place.

Awesome local diner!! I was staying near the freeway and wanted breakfast. Maps showed me all the usual chain restaurants. Borrring. So I saw this place and gave it a try. It was packed, but service was excellent and the food came quickly. And it was very tasty too! The pancake in particular was delicious. Highly recommended.

Great food, including gluten-free (most food can be made GF). Friendly helpful and accommodating staff.

One word to describe the food at Gold Miners Cafe - “humongous “. The food portion is big!!! The menu is named after the staff and loyal patrons of the cafe. Loved their home style potatoes. Service is quick and friendly. Ambience is that of a small town’s mom and pop’s cafe. Most of the customers look like their regulars. Definitely a place to check out if you are visiting Folsom.

Great little local place. Huge portions served with an American flag. Fun staff dressed for Halloween. Great job keeping coffee and water filled. Go for the fresh squeezed orange juice.

A little rough around the edges but the food was great. Large portions, came out hot, fresh ingredients. The service was great! Our waitress was friendly, patient, and gave great advice on food options. (Too bad I can't remember her name but certainly will remember her when I go back!)

Nice diner can tell it's been there forever and has lots of regulars. Classic diner food and constant coffee refills. Great place for all ages but I'm sure your grandparents would be especially happy if you took them there haha. Great atmosphere, servers, food. 5 stars!

Me and my boyfriend are big breakfast people, so we’ve been to our share of diners and cafes. Tastes like the recipes were passed down generations and to find out, they were! Felt so comforting and the staff was warm and welcoming and quick! Coffee was great too. Portions incredible. Support this women owned business! The owner was our waiter and we were told she bought it after her grandma owned it and it was under new owners for a while, and they’ve certainly raised the bar!!!

Food was sooo good ! Great portions for the price as well ! Went in on a Sunday and waited 20 minutes! Service was friendly ! And the new owner is such a sweet woman ! They have placed a great team together! A server who was waiting our table checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed ! The busser was very friendly and had no problem getting all of

Wonderful atmosphere, service, excellent gluten-free 🧇, vegan , and low carb options on the menu, on top of so many scrumptious looking dishes that i wish i could eat🙃, but i could see so many people enjoying. Plus the most perfect poached eggs 🍳 i have ever eaten 😋

This place wasjumping! Completely packed to the gills! The staff was amazing and courteous! My coffee was always full and the food was delicious! Prices fall in line with all other restaurants in the area. Serving sizes were plentiful.
The staff was kind and engaging. They were accommodating to my friend with developmental disabilities who can sometimes swear and be loud. They even gave him a coke to go.
I appreciated the great service and will be recommending this gem to all my local friends!!

Great breakfast! Food and service was amazing, they are busy as heck but always had a smile and were nice. Food was excellent, real thick bacon yummy.

Our first time here was about 25-years ago when Folsom was a much smaller town. Over the years I’ve had several go-to breakfast joints and the Gold Miner has remained on the short list. The short list is shorter now because Sutter Street Grill and the Purple Place are gone. So if you were a fan of those establishments you might want to consider the Gold Miner. Next we’ll try the Rocklin location.

hashbrowns are MASSIVE and the omelet was cooked to perfection, not overly dry like some places.

First time here and it did not disappoint. If you want good comfort diner food, look no further. Large portions. We will be back for breakfast and give them an extra star for having Pepper Plant

Addendum: made it back for breakfast. I had the chorizo scramble, friend had steak scramble. With pepper plant, this did not disappoint. We were first customers, so service was great. As we leftat 845, the place was packed.

Food is high quality and good tasting. I had waffle, bacon, home fries, eggs, and orange juice.
The waffle was Belgian style and had good flavor with heated syrup, bacon was thick, smoky and meaty, home fries were red potatoes, with red bell pepper, onion, and not salty. Eggs were cooked to order. The orange juice was outstanding. I think they were picking the oranges off a tree in the back and fresh squeezing them to order. The juice came with a slice of orange on the rim of the glass.
We were a little rushed for time and our waitress must have put a rush on our order because the food arrived less than 10 minutes after ordering.
Jill, our waitress was top notch. She was friendly, quick, and catered to our time limit. Very nice of her to be so accommodating.
