My first time eating authentic, imported English cuisine. Pleasantly surprised at how fresh and tasty everything was. The sausage was so good! Smooth, flavorful meat with perfect texture. Eggs to perfection, imported beans. Fabulous meal! Bought a bunch of imported chocolate too. Kellie's is a gem and right here in Newport. So happy I stopped in. Will be a repeat patron.

I have had the pleasure of eating in the UK on multiple occasions (mostly in Scotland). Their authenticity is beyond measurable. Highly recommend their blood pudding, cooked to perfection with the level of quality you would expect at a country side Bed and Breakfast.

This is a very cute cafe that is beautifully decorated inside. Family owned and they’ve opened this cafe 5 years ago. The family are SO nice! There’s a ton of English snacks and candies in front that you can choose from. You can use any of their displayed British tea sets to have tea. They play British tv shows, British radio, and one person was watching a football (not American) and giving score updates to the family.
They have wifi if you want to come and work.
I had The Cowboy sandwich (2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 egg on baguette) and it did not disappoint. Fair warning: it’s ginormous!

Cured my homesickness immediately! Best brew I’ve had since moving here 2 years ago. The owners were lovely, and the full English definitely hit the spot! Spent far too much on chocolate, crisps, sausages and other treats for Christmas but I couldn’t help myself! Kids loved it too 👍🏻

Visited Kelly's Café in Newport and had a 5-star experience from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who humorously offered us a 'walking tour of London' on screen. Their food recommendations were spot-on. We savored the classic English breakfast with exceptional baked beans, not your usual American fare, and the cowboy meal my wife had was superb. Don't miss their scones with clotted cream and jam - absolutely heavenly! The included coffee and genuine English Cadbury chocolate we bought were both delightful. Amazing value for money. This café is now a must-visit for us in Newport and I'll be recommending it to all my Airbnb guests!

Super nice breakfast place. Service was spectacular. English breakfast was as traditional as one would get here in the States. Flavor was similar to what we have experience in UK. We even found a few chocolate brands that we have only try in UK and the chocolate is delicious. The outside of the establishment is not super fancy but don’t let that stop you from going in. Do yourself a favor and stop here if in Newport RI.

Let me start this review off with the fact that I’ve been craving a full English breakfast for a couple months now.

I scoured the internet for one, searching in New England, then searching Connecticut, and then in Rhode Island. Lo and behold Kellie’s Cafe popped up. I messaged them on Facebook to ensure the hours, and soon after they messaged me back! BINGO!

We drove an hour, and despite the construction making it look possibly closed it was absolutely not. When you park, you get greeted by a floating head of the Queen which delighted our child. When entering you’re greeted not only by the owners, but a wide array of classic chocolates and treats, which are just waiting for you when you go to pay.

The food, I don’t know if I’ve had anything as good this side of “the pond.” My wife had scone, which was fresh from the oven and nothing short of perfection with the clotted cream and jam. My daughter had the beans on toast, with the beans on the side, a request that they had no issue doing. My MIL got an egg and cheese on rye, and she was delighted.

As for me, and my quest for the full English breakfast, I couldn’t have been more happy. I got it with the black pudding, and my gosh did it hit the spot. This place, it’s the real deal, and if there is anywhere in Newport you should stop for some tea and a bite to eat, Kellies has to be the first place you go! Wonderful. 9999/10.

Food here is too good to be considered traditional British fare. Hehe The owner/staff are friendly and helpful. I used to buy a lot of British candy here but it's gotten a little too expensive. Try them out it's a great change of pace from America fare. Parking can be a little tough at peak times.

We’ve been here just a few times but loved each trip! You’ll be treated like family here and treated to a homecooked feast fit for royalty ❤ I really recommend the Cadbury hot chocolate. You can even pick some up to take home.

Okay! Yum!!! Might be my new favorite spot out here! Delicious, fresh and truly wonderful. The bagel was perfectly crisp and chewy. The muffin was to die for honestly. I'd do alot of things for these muffins. Fluffy and moist exquisite taste. I got a bagel with ham and cheese and a blueberry muffin. I will be back sooner than later !!!

The best English Breakfast this side of the pond! Everything was amazing! David and his family were hospitable and engaging! I am definitely returning!

Kellie’s was recommended to us, and it was wonderful. I ordered an egg and rashers on toast, and it was delicious and totally enjoyed my proper cup of tea. And we were able to bring home some British chocolate, biscuits, rashers and bangers for everyone to enjoy. It is located on the over by the Newport Bridge. make sure to check it out next time you are in Newport. And we learned that you can order online and they will ship overnight to you. Next time you’re in Newport, make sure to check it out you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I discovered Kellie’s by accident and we were so excited to try it. We finally stopped in before we headed out for our vacation and it was amazing! My husband was longing for steak and ale pie and he loved it. He said it was just as if he was having it in England. I had sausage and mashed and it was yummy! They also sell so many English treats! We’re thrilled. Kellie and David are so lovely and we can’t wait to get back there again. I can say with all honesty that we’ll be regulars! Don’t hesitate to stop in. You’ll love it!

Today I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious well prepared traditional English (Full Monty) breakfast at my new favorite restaurant in Newport, RI. The only thing that was better than the menu selections available to eat in or for Take Away was the most hospitable owners and cooks, Kellie and her husband David. It was truly a heavenly slice of the UK right here in America. It has a good menu including afternoon High Tea if you'd like to partake of this royal respite during your trip to Newport. Their hours are 8a-2p, Monday-Saturday. Checkout their Facebook page and their online website. Thanks K&D for a wonderful experience.

Got the Full Monty Breakfast with Black Pudding and it was incredible. First time having an English breakfast and first time at Kellie’s. Will definitely return - this is my new favorite spot. Staff were very friendly and polite. Clean little gem in a location off the beaten path. If you’re reading this you must plan a visit.

I LOVE this place to DEATH. I would truly be happy if I could eat a Ploughman's sandwich every day, but I'll settle for when I can grab one. The people who run it are the most friendly and inviting people ever, and they are happy to explain anything on the menu. I would always pass by and point to the sign and say "tea flag" as a joke, but just talking about them now is making me hungry. HURRY AND OPEN BACK UP! WE MISS YOU!

Came in for breakfast and was not disappointed. The food was just how I remember England - with proper bacon, black pudding and beans all available. The owners were incredibly friendly and we were chatting non stop about England and what brought us to the States. The selection of English food / chocolate available was incredible and I ended up spending way more than I expected on “breakfast”, hopefully my English friends will appreciate all the goodies. Overall would 100% recommend coming here for an authentic English experience!!

This is a great spot for an authentic British dining experience! We enjoyed the English breakfast and welcoming atmosphere. Was delightful listening to the British accents of the owners and other patrons. We even tried HP sauce. Would love to return for afternoon tea sometime soon.

I had the Cumberland Sausage sandwich with mashed potatoes and beans yesterday. It was one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommended, and I’m looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu.
