Rose & Thistle

The atmosphere is lovely. The food was everything you would expect! Fresh, elegant and delicious. Jennifer was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing! We had a wonderful night!

It was a great place to Eat and Drink. Every thing was delicious. Great service too. Will definitely be back!

Small and intimate setting. Fresh ingredients with tons of flavor! Cheese platter had great variety. Salad dressing was creamy and delicious. Scallops were cooked perfectly and tender. The sauce was delicate and divine! Forbidden rice added a unique texture. We will be back to try more of the creations.

My first time at the Rose & Thistle…my granddaughter Ellen, who lives in Perrysburg, goes all the time & loves it! She was treating me & from the moment we walked in I loved the atmosphere & quiet ambiance…I decided on the scallops, wild rice, and spiralled zucchini & carrot veg. My starter, was the most delectable Corn Chowder soup…no room for dessert. Haley the bartender, was fabulous as was, Chef Matt, who came out to make sure we were happy with our choices…I have recommended to many friends in Sylvania & most definitely will return.

Had a wonderful time stopping in at the bar tonight. They had a burger special my husband loved and I had a charcuterie board and gazpacho! Everything was delicious and we will be back!

The food was beyond delicious! Our server was fabulous! She even put a candle in my Creme Brulee for my birthday. We will definitely be back!!

Wife and I had an early Valentine’s Day dinner. We booked reservations to late so we got a later time. To bad, they were out of the two appetizers we wanted. They were also out of steaks. But the brazed ribs were spot on and the salmon was possibly the best I have ever had. The salad delicious and fresh. The chocolate mousse tasted of cocoa powder and they were out of crème brûlée. Service was pretty good. Look forward to trying more selections when we return (earlier).

The no rush attitude was a huge plus! It made for a wonderful evening for our family. The staff was kind and courteous. The food was fantastic, especially the scallops! All in all it was a fantastic evening at Rose & Thistle and I look forward to my next visit.

Great food, excellent customer service, limited menu that I'm sure rotates, high class dining with the need to be overly dressed. Food took a little while but they were packed. I was on business so it was nice to get a relaxing first class dining experience. If I remembered the servers name I would recommend, very good explaining menu items and recommending drinks and desert.

Absolutely delicious. Everyone in our party of six walked out with a smile on their face. Our waitress was so much fun, and the food was amazing. We can't wait to come back!

Last night we had dinner with our son. It was very good. The stuffed mushrooms were a treat. The casual menu for Farmer's Market had a lot of great selections. We were glad we stopped inin.

Great first impression! Charming decor and atmosphere. Personable, helpful and friendly waitstaff and chef. But most importantly, the food was all fantastic. We got the ahi tuna appetizer, and filet mignon and beef Wellington entrees, both with Caesar salad, all prepared to perfection For dessert, the dark chocolate mousse was decadent, and I couldn't stop eating the toffee ice cream.
I may not own a tire company, but I'll happily go out of my way to return.

Hands down the best dining experience in Perrysburg and probably even Toledo. The ambience, cocktails, dinner, and perfectly simple menu was such a treat. Beef Wellington and Caesar salad are to die for. The chef interacting with his customers is a great touch as well. Can’t wait to be back.

My husband and I went there for the first time for dinner and it was absolutely delicious! I had the Beef Wellington and my husband had the Scottish Salmon. Our service was perfect! For dessert we had the chocolate mousse which is house made with little bits of chocolate. The Chef came out to see how we enjoyed our dinner which we found to be really classy. I can't wait to go back!

We were in town on a business meeting. While everyone else decided to go to a"chain" restaurant we wanted to try a local one.... We were not disappointed in the Rose & Thistle from the start... The atmosphere was inviting the bartender was very polite and had a good selection of local craft beer. I ordered the beef Wellington medium and it was chilled to perfection. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely stop in again. I highly recommend this place.
