A cute cafe. Some pantries made on site. Fresh selection of fruit, pastrie or sandwiches. Plenty of seating available and also outdoor seating. Helpful, friendly staff. We went there a second time now, had BLT sandwich and the Jrrsey Girl sandwich. Were really good and filling.

Just moved to Newport 5 days ago and had my parents in town for a visit. We decided to try 12 Metre for Saturday morning breakfast. It was perfect. The diner atmosphere combined with incredible service, and delicious food makes this a destination we will come back to time and time again. Try the Vermonter, the Breakfast Burrito, or the Pancakes…you will not be disappointed!

A gem in the rough! Great egg sandwiches, when you miss breakfast at the restaurants. A bunch of locals frequent here so it’s gotta be great!

In the few hours that have passed since I wondered into this establishment for what I thought would be an “ordinary” breakfast sandwich, I still have not come to terms with the emotions I have felt after eating ‘The Bosco’ sandwich. Not to mention the staff and environment, the first bite of that Bagel from heaven was so good, I couldn’t come around to take another bite for 5 minutes. I immediately got hit with tunnel vision and I couldn’t hear what was going on around me. “But the ingredients are all basic” was the first thought I had, but then I realized they were all created for the sole purpose of being together. There was no other explanation, this was THE best breakfast sandwich I had ever encountered, and possibly food item period. My shock quickly shifted to a feeling of anger, as I was frustrated with myself that I could not pinpoint the exact words to describe what I was tasting. The rest is history, and I called my spouse on the way home to share my experience. I felt like I ripped them off for only paying $9 for it. You have to come here, but only if you’re strong enough mentally to handle a level of satisfaction you’ve never had before. 5 Stah.

Amazing cheesecake and tots. The restaurant was clean and super cute. Nice big windows all around. We went on a Monday for lunch and they were open.

Amazing hospitality with great food and drinks. The owner, Brian, is the nicest guy! His recommendations are spot on. Get the buffalo chicken naan if available! So many different ingredients that work perfectly together. Each bite brought out a different experience. His store made teas are amazing! He let us sample a bunch of them. It's counter service with a few tables to eat at. Exactly what we were looking for. We didn't want the bar scene for lunch. He also treats the employees with respect, which went a long way with us. And for a bonus, he sounds just like Jack Black. For reals! We will absolutely stop in every time we are in town!

An unexpected treat! Homemade Belgium waffles, salmon and avocado toast brimming with arugula and balsamic drizzle and chocolate chip muffins with more chips than you can count! And the owner and his mom were super attentive to our every need! I wold give it 6 stars if that were an option!

My absolute favorite place in town for a good, authentic coffee and fresh always fast service food items. Their sandwiches are the best around and the nitro cold brew is the best coffee I’ve found in a long time! I recommend to everyone, 10 out of 10

Can’t say enough about the food and the service at 12 Meter Cafe! We ordered a Muffuletta Sandwich and a Turkey, Bacon, Jalapeño Cream Cheese, Tomato and Arugula Sandwich on an Asiago Bagel. FANTASTIC! And Brian was wonderful! You have to go! Coffee is insane too!

Great egg sandwiches and solid coffee. Anyplace outside the great state of NJ that serves Taylor Ham (Pork Roll) is off to a good start. Looking forward to making my way through the menu.

Great place and people! The Bosco breakfast sandwich is delicious. I am counting down until I am back in the area to get another one. Cute courtyard to enjoy your breakfast.

A fantastic breakfast spot on the Wharf!! Unique menu plus excellent coffee and the cold brew teas are fabulous! Exceptional staff and service!!!!! We will return every visit to Newport!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Super friendly staff, reasonably priced (they even have a 10% Salve student discount!), AND it’s the only place in Newport where I’ve been able to get a Taylor ham egg and cheese that tastes just like Jersey. So happy that I came here!!

The Jersey Girl was heavenly and put together beautifully. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Wonderful shop owners stayed open a few minutes longer to make to some wonderful avocado toast for a pregnant lady (me) experiencing a bout of nausea on a walk and needing a snack during the time of covid. Shout out to them for a sense of caring 💜
