Serenity was our server and she was fantastic! She made sure we were well taken care of and had great recommendations for food. My wife had the Mohican salad and I had the smoked BBQ chicken sliders, fries and seasonal slaw. Everything was amazing and despite being completely swamped with customers, they were all on top of it!!

I recently dined at Black Fork Bistro and had a very enjoyable experience. The smoked wings and onion rings were both excellent - the wings were flavorful and perfectly cooked, and the onion rings were crispy and not greasy. They also have a wide selection of custom drinks, which is great for those who like to try something new. Overall, I would highly recommend Black Fork Bistro!

So delicious! I got a sunrise mocktail and the wild mushroom pasta (which comes with the most yummy butter garlic bread with cheese on top). It's so nice to be able to go to such a nice restaurant and sit down after work! Absolutely amazing 👏

A gem of a locally owned cafe in the heart of Loudenville. Delicious, made in house food. We had crab cakes and fish fry, both were excellent.

Great place for lunch and a beer. They have a half dozen or more craft beers on tap. Burgers, sandwiches, salads. I had the muffalatta. Good amount of Italian meats plus olives and dressing. With chips and slaw, it made a good meal.

I had the Bistro Toast (Thick slices of sour dough bread | creamy burrata | heirloom tomatoes | poached egg | basil vinaigrette).

Husband had the Reuben sandwich (housemade corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and thousand island dressing on marbled rye bread).

Great experience, food, service, and atmosphere were perfect.

A beautiful restaurant. Wonderful experience. Their food is higher quality, and delicious! Love that there's a vegan menu! I also appreciated all beef meat balls, as I do not eat pork. The staff is great. I also, love the owners! It's hard to find a restaurant
Like this. A "Mom and pop" place where you feel good about paying them for dinner. Not some corporate owned business with chemicals sprayed all over your food, everything is frozen or canned and you don't have a clue what is in it. Lisa would never allow it! It's a place you feel good about what you are feeding yourself and your family!

Excellent service and ambiance (although slightly warmer, dimmer lighting might be nice at night), and we enjoyed our food: loaded jumbo tots, Brussels pizza, and wild mushroom fettuccine (without chicken for us).

The best place to eat in the Loudonville area and worth a bit of a roadtrip from one of the bigger surrounding towns (Wooster, Ashland, Mansfield, or Millersburg). I work close by, so I've always been here at lunchtime. It's a smaller restaurant, serving mostly tavern-style food and featuring a really good beer selection. I've had the burgers, ruebens, salads and various appetizers and all are good choices. My favorite item though is the pizza (pictured here is the meat lovers). The quality and portions are good but it is rather expensive for lunch--the prices are more appropriate for dinner visit. They don't take reservations and the seating can get a bit tight when busy (and they usually are busy), however they have recently changed ownership and my understanding is that they are opening up the second floor to accommodate larger groups in addition to expanding their menu. The building itself is one of the old downtown buildings and has been restored with open brickwork. Very charming with lots of character and a down-home vibe. The service is also very good; I'm always impressed that the servers can remember our group's drink orders even when it's been weeks or months between visits. Again, very much worth the drive to Loudonville for the tastiest food in the Mohican area.

This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back. We ordered the Loaded Jumbo Tots appetizer, Classic Burger, Firepower Burger and the Black Fork Sundae. All the food was delicious, but that sundae!! That was just so good. Our waitress was very friendly and did a great job!!

Everything was delicious. I had the bacon and Brie burger and it was probably the best burger I’ve had in a long time. Our server was awesome. Great place to eat.

Tots were awesome!!! Highly recommend. Food was very good. Service was average as you would expect with a small town busy restaurant.

Got the portabello sandwich. Really delish and satisfying. Could only eat half, but took the rest with me. House made chips were so crispy crunchy......yum. I would return. They have a good selection of hot teas to chase away those rainy chills.

I’ve stopped here twice on my way to the Mohicans and it is such a little gem of a restaurant. My first experience was during Valentine’s Day weekend where they had specialty drink features and every single one was delicious. The bartender was super friendly and encouraged us to try the different drinks which I loved and appreciated.

Both times the food was delicious but my favorite thing had to be the giant pretzel. The mustard dipping sauce is perfection. We ordered a crème brûlée for dessert that had way too much sugar and wasn’t cooked properly but our server and the kitchen were eager to correct it.

The Black Fork Bistro is on my top list of restaurants in the area. Food, drinks and service are five stars!

The portobello sandwich and sweet potato fries were quality and I witnessed the most incredible acts of kindness and compassion by these people. An old guy with a totally different ethnic background who could barely communicate walks in. Hostess couldn’t speak understand him, likely from stroke. Then place was packed with people waiting in line. She takes him to the only seat available at bar where they figured out what he wanted. Extraordinary kindness when they were extremely busy. Love it

Great fresh atmosphere. Lovely art work on the walls. Staff were friendly and quick to greet us, seat us, and take our orders. The food was delicious! Highly recommend their inhouse chips. I had one of their burgers which was cooked perfectly! They have a good selection of food on their kids menu.

I stopped in with the family for an early dinner on a Sunday. The service was quick. My wife and agreed the burgers were very good. She had The Hangover and I had The Firetower (very spicy but excellent) and split some sweet potato fries (fresh cut, thick, very good). I can also recommend the "crisp" with ice cream dessert. The seasonal fruit was apple. It was very large but we split one crisp 4 ways with the kids (ages 4 and 5). Everyone left happy.
