Maumee State Park Campground Camp Store

Stayed a week in late June. We will definitely be back. The campground is clean and well maintained. The staff is super friendly. This park has everything you could ask for including paved trails, unpaved walking paths, a huge beach, a Scottish style golf course, inland ponds, a sledding hill, a big field for kite flying, a playground, bike rentals, social events, and so much more. Book your vacation today! You won't regret it!

The Maumee Bay Park Camp store is a nice clean camp office. The staff was very friendly and helpful they offer a little bit of anything you might need from firewood to ice. The campgrounds were awesome offering level paved semi private sites with electrical hookups, picnic tables and fire rings. Some sites had full hookups as well. There were nice clean restroom and shower facilities throughout the grounds. We had a wonderful relaxing stay.

The worker at the store was really helpful. Gave us a nice Ohio State Park map.

Campsites are paved and really roomy, bathrooms are clean. Showers have hot water. We prefer a more rustic campground, but it was nice and quiet.

To get to the campground from the west, you have to drive through a pretty industrial complex. Cliffs Iron Ore, BP refinery, among other things.

The people in the office are nice and friendly. You can get just about anything you would need in the camp office. Don't forget to get a Maumee Bay tee shirt or sweat shirt.

I, my ex-wife, and stepson made a habit out of camping here several times a year back in the 90's and 00's - coming out of Cleveland. It really is a GREAT place! :-) The staff was ALL A-1, the very large and most amply appointed grounds were always immaculate, and we always enjoyed a fantastic experience! Google around the area too! There are lots of hidden gems! :-)

We have camped there a few times in the last couple of years always a pleasant atmosphere the sites are beautiful and the grounds are well kept. So it's horrible stay away we don't need you 😆😂 JUST TEASING THE PLACE IS WONDERFUL AND THE STAFF ARE GREAT 😃

A wonderful camping experience. Close to home. Reconnect with nature and enjoy one of Ohio’s best State Parks. Glad to see they are creating full hook up sites.

Loved this State Park. Kelley’s Outdoor Adventures The RVdrifters. Great campground.

Very nice camp sites. Most have shrubs (greenery) between sites. A+ staff, very friendly. The only drawbacks are, 1- only two dump holes for ~200 camp sites, and 2- only two each shower stalls for two loops (46) sites. Neither of these cons would keep us from coming back.

Nice play to stay at. Nice big playground for the kids and lots of space everywhere.
Nice activities like icecream or donuts and coffee during the whole weekends organised by the hosts. Definitely would go back and stay again.

Best state park we have been to. Flat concrete pads. Shrubs or trees between each space offering great privacy. Nice dump station
with potable water and compressed air. The only negative I can say is there is only electricity at each space.

Staff was amazing and a great place for camping

I would like to put a shut out to the ladies and the gentleman at the Maumee state park check in station how pleasant they would and answer all questions even went we need even help with quarters to wash clothes I would like to thank you very much for all you do we will return sincerely kathy hist , have a nice rest of your summer

One of THE BEST Ohio State Park campgrounds! Extremely clean and it seems like the volunteers always have activities going on. One of our favorites! Thank you Maumee S. P. ! 😊😊🏕

Great little store for souvenirs and gifts, as well as last minute supplies you might need. The staff is very friendly.

Nice campground w/large spots. Not many large shade trees. No water/sewer hookups. Some sites now have 50amp service.

Hands down the best campground in the area. We camp here Several times a year and are never disappointed. If they would add a swimming pool to the campground, I would never leave... Lol..

Beautiful campground. My sweet beautiful Betsy and I had a wonderful time. Lots of bike paths and hiking trails.

We come from Florida once a year to camp here. Beautiful camping area.
