Crains Run Nature Park

Awesome 😎 time today at this park. Lots of different directions to choose from and two different areas to park. I went to the main entrance and took the left path by the river. There was an actual Crain just relaxing in the water looking for fish. I sat on a bench and watched the wildlife for awhile. Can't wait to go back to explore more. There are several covered picnic 🧺 areas porta potties.

Absolutely my favorite park! I go there every morning to read my Bible. I've met really nice people there and the park maintenance is top notch. The nature and wildlife is just stunning. Highly recommend!

Absolutely a treasure to find. Lovely place. We have to spend a couple months in the area for a kidney transplant and what a delight finding this place so close by to the house we're hoping to rent & The Franklin Church on river street is only a few more blocks down!. The whole area is blessed by God! We seen the most wholesome healthy activities going on! Boys & Girls troops gathering! Families strolling! Fishing! Joyful everlasting smiles all around.
So yeah. Nice place........

What a beautiful park. Great place for a picnic by the river. Only down side is the noise from traffic can become quite loud sometimes.

First time here. Nice bike path to walk on.

Beautiful bend of the Great Miami River. The bike path runs through it. A great place to stop for a picnic lunch on one of the many benches with a great view surrounded by grass and mature trees.

Beautiful park, had a bday party and big play area for kids

If your going to go fishing here during the summer, it has to be during the early morning hours or after 8pm. Any other time your just sitting baking in the sun. I've caught some bluegill, bass, and sunfish here. Thr lake is decently sized. They have trails to walk on and a park and shelters for family events. Nice nature spot right outside middletown.

This park has a nice playground for the kids and for the kids at heart! There is also a bike/walking path right beside the river and is absolutely beautiful! You can take your dog with you too if you would like. They have a parking lot close to the playground and the park shelter. They have water fountains as well. The scenery is lovely.

It's really a beautiful park. More adult-oriented, but kids interested in nature will enjoy it and the playground is fun.

Secret gem of Ohio. Only if city takes proper care & advertise it, it will be a great spot for families to enjoy.

Great paved walking trail, picnic shelters, and beautiful views of the Great Miami River. Great place for a short walk. There are only port o let's for restrooms, so be aware before you visit.

I absolutely love this little spot. Lots of benches, bike path goes to Franklin or towards Miamisburg, great and well kept playground.

Nice paved trail traveling along the river for a total of 99 miles!

A great place to take your family fishing. The cook out shelters are really nice and good size too. They do have some dirt trails around the pond. But the bike trail goes on for miles along the river and through the woods. Full of wild life. The best time to go is in the fall with the changing of the leaves. And of course with the snow on the ground it's beautiful. Make sure you take your cell phone with you because you will want to take some pictures. The bike trail along the river is full of beauty and fishing spots.

Clean, peaceful trails to walk, run, and bike. Will definitely be back again.
