New Orleans style food is my absolute favorite. Top of the list, so my bar is pretty high. This place crushed it. Starting off with the ONLY legitimately good tasting hurricane in the city, which was super exciting because I have been looking for one for forever. From there, my family shared all of the small plate dishes, and not one of them was bad. Straight hundreds across the board, loved every dish. In addition, the bread pudding and bourbon brownies were just incredible. Can't recommend this place enough!!

Nice restaurant, they had live music, food was delicious we ordered the chickenand waffle and the fried oyster caesar salad. Drinks were really nice. This is a location I would like to revisit, but for dinner hours so I can try out their dinner menu.

Hidden Gem! Laid back with live music nightly. Excellent service from engaged and genuine staff. Everything on the menu from scratch and carefully executed by Emeril taught Chef Michael. Perfect for date night or just because.

BrewRiver Creole Kitchen in Cincinnati, let me tell you, it's something special. From the moment you step through those doors, you're greeted with the warmth and flavors of the South. Now, folks, when I tried their crawfish étouffée, it was like a taste of Louisiana right here in Ohio. And don't even get me started on the jambalaya—it was so good, it had me thinking I was back in New Orleans. And the gumbo? Let me tell you, it was top-notch, folks. Each dish, a masterpiece in its own right. So, if you find yourself in Cincinnati and you're craving some authentic Creole cuisine, do yourself a favor and head on down to BrewRiver Creole Kitchen. You won't be disappointed, I guarantee it.

The ambiance of this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. Takes you right to NOLA! The drinks were yummy and the food was excellent. We got the Pasta Monica, the alligator and waffle (listen this was the best thing and I would go back just for that), and the jambalaya. Food was a 10/10. Our service was quick, especially for it being 6PM on a Saturday. Our waitress was so nice and sweet. I would definitely come back here again.

Perfect hurricanes, they make me love my feelings and tell the catfish that I love every bite. Imagine: if you well: a perfect New Orleans day full of fries and good times.

First time trying BrewRiver Creole Kitchen and we received a welcoming greeting right away by the hostess and bartender. Our original plan was to grab a drink and appetizer before driving to The Precinct. After a couple minutes, we made an impulse decision to stay and give BrewRiver a longer visit. They have a nice craft beer selection on draft. We enjoyed the chicken and sausage gumbo and Pasta Monica we ordered. BrewRiver has indoor and outdoor tables. We sat at the bar and our food came out amazingly fast. The bartender was friendly and very accommodating. We plan to go back and try more menu items.

I’m rarely (if ever) left speechless during a meal, but I was multiple times tonight. Started with a Sazerac and the Gumbo Poutine, then the Creole Etouffee with shrimp and fried oysters for an entree and finished with the house made Bananas Foster Bread Pudding for dessert.

It takes quite a lot for me to be thoroughly impressed with a meal out at a restaurant, but this had me stopping to collect myself multiple times. That being said, I would go as far as to say this was maybe the very best all around meal I’ve ever had. It was so good, and I was so impressed, that I asked our waitress to bring the chef out so I could thank him in person and shake his hand. Ronaldo, I believe, absolutely hit this out of the park tonight. 11/10 - So good that I made my wife cancel our reservations she made for Farher’s Day at a different restaurant and we put in a reservation here for Father’s Day right there on the spot.

I plan to be back many, many times. Ronaldo is national treasure - protect that man at all costs! ⚜

Awesome birthday dinner! The Pasta Monica and the poutine are my favorite. I can't wait to be back to try the other things on the menu. The music tonight was amazing. The guy does some nice Hendrix and Zeppelin.

Went for my birthday again this year! Thanks Samantha for the great service! Such great food again!

Really delicious food and friendly service. My only ask is if they could make the portions for the blackened catfish and gator bites a little bigger. We got the truffle mac, pasta bowl, bread pudding, hurricane and espresso martini cocktails it was all amazing!

I really love this place. There has been live music every time we’ve been there, which makes for an awesome atmosphere. It’s not the same as going to New Orleans, but about as close as it gets. I love the Gumbo and rice, get it every time.

Such a great place!
I drove by for months until finally got to try the place out last week.
It definitely has a great atmosphere with live music daily. We've got to enjoy some nice jazz on a Friday night.
Their food is delicious with generous portions. It's all made from scratch from locally sourced products. Which you for sure can taste.
The weekly special with salmon was incredible! I fell in love with it and hope it will become a part of the regular menu.

The service is nice too. She was knowledgeable and gave us great advice on the menu. The food came back promptly.

Will be back 100%

The service was excellent! (I'm sorry, I can't remember his name🤔) The food -delicious! We hadn't ever dined there before and we wanted to check out the live music. The pork rinds were awesome! They were still popping a little when brought to the table. My husband had the chicken dinner with their cole slaw and I had their black bean and chick pea burger with the slaw. Great food! Desserts are wonderful, too! Our server was very helpful, patient and very attentive (without hovering). A really nice date night!

Great dinner tonight. We had the chicken and sausage gumbo poutine starter. Fries were crispy even with the gravy plenty to share and tasted great. It was a bit short on chicken. We followed that up with the Pasta Monica and Sausage and Shrimp Etoufee. Both dishes were plentiful with lots of shrimp and sausage. Both dishes had great flavor and a little heat. We would definitely go back . I couldn't believe the place was kind of quiet on a Saturday evening. Get out and visit this place you won't be disappointed.

Great place for Creole cooking! Decent beer selection. Étouffee and gumbo were really good with just the right amount of spice.

The service was fantastic! The food was good and creative but wasn’t amazing. I would go back again though and order something new from the menu. My wife and I had the shrimp and grits and Amish chicken. The Mac and cheese was unbelievable and the drinks were very inventive and delicious Great ambiance for a memorable experience

First time here and had a great experience! The decor is so cozy and our waitress was super friendly and attentive! We got the Jumbalaya and the Pasta Monica with subbed veggies and both were so delicious! The potions were very big so we have lots of leftovers. The booths are private and have comfy cushions. It's in a nicely renovated older building. They had live music, playing blues and classic rock songs that added great ambiance without being too loud. The menu has great creole favorites but healthy options are hard to find. The cocktails were delicious but pricy! We're definitely coming back soon!

This is one of the best hidden Gem's in the greater Cincinnati area. Amazing, spectacular flavors will pop your taste bud's. I cant say enough about this really wonderful restaurant with a full bar, outside seating and great service!!

Y’all…this place is so good! For the average diner it is great but for me, someone with a severe Gluten intolerance, it is a dream! Everything is made in house and if not it is made by Sunny Marie. The Shrimp Po’ Boy was amazing! (I haven’t had fried shrimp for 15 years). I will be back to try, wait for it, fried chicken! Our server Summer was wonderful! Oh, the small plate is actually gigantic!
