Warren County Armco Park

Second time I've been here and I'll be going again soon. Everyone loved it. We parked near the waterfall and there was no one there. We grilled and had a picnic. We went to the fishing docks right before they closed and watched a beautiful sun setting. The kids were happy watching the ducks. It was a really nice day overall.

First time fishing on the lake in the park. They have kayaks, canoes, pontoons to rent... and they have live bait. A lot of shore line on this lake. I launched my own kayak from their launch area...paid a few dollars for the privilege. Very nicely kept park with lots to do. The lake butts up against Shaker Run Golf Course so you may hear some colorful language. There would have been different photos had I caught anything...😎

Warren County Armco Park is still beautiful. This is a park with a lot of land and diverse wildlife, especially where there is dense foilage and trees around the good size lake. There are many picnic shelters, walking trails, golf course, volleyball and tennis courts, a baseball field and lots of playgrounds.

We had a great day...caught a lot of nice blue gil and sunfish...got to watch 2 eagles flying around..as well as fighting ..lol..come out and enjoy the park and lake..great place for a nice family day!

We love this park. It's great for just a visit or a party. Affordable sites that are perfect. Boats to rent if you want. Golf if you play. What more could you ask for? Great maintenance and clean park. Lots of room to let a kid run off some energy in a safe place.

+a nature-type playground with a small rope bridge, life-size maze, mounds, and wood structures to explore

+small boats for rent (not sure if they're doing this with COVID going though)

We have two young kids, 3 and 1, so we're always looking for parks with great playgrounds for them and some natural beauty for us adults to enjoy. This park more than fulfilled our expectations

Water level back up that's a plus they need to bring back the putt putt golf and do a movie night my mom or some one told me said back then they use to do a movie night that what the green poles.behind the pavilion building was for

A great location for first time kayakers! I caught my first bass here. Really fun place to spend the day. It's worth the money! 💙 Great for all ages!

Huge, beautiful park. I played the disc golf course. It is one of the best I've ever played. It is also one of the longest and difficult courses I've played. I enjoyed it immensely.

Always enjoy going to this park. Many pavilions to reserve for get togethers. Play area close to some pavilions. Disc golf can be played and there are hiking trails.

My daughter reserved a shelter for her father's celebration of life. As we started setting up, one of the workers stopped by to check to make sure we were the correct party. He was super polite. The park itself is beautiful and well maintained.

Easy and affordable to just stop in and rent a small boat, pontoon, or canoe/kayak and explore the lake for an hour or two:)

We love this park. It has shelter houses, tennis courts that second as pickle ball courts, baseball diamonds disk golf, trails, boats to rent, basketball courts, and more.

You can pay to fish and rent a boat if you'd like to. Great place to go for picnic's. Great playgrounds. Tennis courts, basketball courts, places to play volleyball or badminton.
Just an all around great place to go with your family or just by yourself to Walk.

I love early mornings, when the wildlife is just waking up as the sun also is coming out. So peaceful, such a beautiful Park .

I've been going here since I was 5 years old, my dad worked at Armco for 45 years, always has been a very clean Park, everything well kept, family oriented.

Very nice park! Tons of rentable shelters with access to open green space to play volleyball, soccer,etc. Lots of playgrounds. At the lake you can rent paddleboats or bring a kayak and enjoy the calm waters. There are also baseball diamonds and a golf course.

My English Springer Spaniel knows when I say "want to go to the park" that we're going for a long walk. Armco Park has some pretty great walking trails that, as long as it's not too muddy make for a great dog outing. Even on days where it's a bit too muddy for my liking, we can still walk the paved paths without becoming a total mess.

Other than dog-walking, there's quite a lot to do here. Whether it's baseball or softball, or hosting a family reunion - this park is big enough and with enough amenities to provide something for everyone.

As a special bonus: if you like Ohio Bird Watching, you'll see quite a broad variety here. Blue Jays, Cardinals in every shape, size and color, and many Red Tail and Cooper's Hawks!
