The Counseling Center

You really have to be your own advocate here. Not just here but everywhere. I've learned to be open and honest about my mental health and what's really going on is best. There's great councilors you just have to find the one you click with. Make sure you tell them what you're looking to get from going to see them. Just be clear on your intentions or nothings going to get accomplished.

The Counciling Center has helped me out tremendously throughout the years. They have excellent counciling for whoever needs it. They have a wonderful Aftercare group for anyone who is in recovery. They are very positive and uplifting in what they have to offer.I have become a better person to my family and the community. The staff is the best in the country. I would refer anyone to go to them for help.

The staff and Dr's here are amazing!! Really listen and help.

My only complaint is getting a call back...I called 2 weeks ago?! Still haven't been able to talk to anyone.... 😥😥😥

I'm a student and I've made it clear to the psychiatrist Linda and her nurse Marsha. I'm in and out of the county. I called in regarding my Zoloft. This was after i already had called another time. I finally got a callback basically being told that I was a "no show" which I was at school like I have made clear. Despite working with the mentally ill they are very rude and disrespectful to their patients. This wasn't my first time having a bad encounter.

The receptionists are rude and condensing to patients. When you need medication refilled they don't return your calls if it has been sent in to pharmacy or not. I would not refer this place to anyone , especially if suffering from anxiety because they will just give you more stress.

The corruption and lack of accountability in this place is absurd. I found a new provider outside of Columbiana County (since all MH treatment for the county goes through this place) months ago. N.P. Ashley Noel was not wearing a mask in the office during COVID restrictions and would otherwise wear ineffective mesh masks with large holes. She prescribed me medication that I later found she had not even documented in their system (HIPPA violation). I made more than 5 requests to have MY records sent to one place over a period of months and it never happened. My counselor was wonderful but moved to somewhere better. I speak out for all the people who are being mistreated and taken advantage of, for those who are ignorant to the corruption here.

I can tell the receptionists get a bunch of complaints.

All the councillor did was waste an hour telling me where I could have met other singles before covid hit.

My experience was very degrading, Dr. Paolone actually compared me to another client and said both of our lives are 'going nowhere'.

Extremely rude and insensitive! Do NOT recommend!
