Went there to look at area rugs. Moses was so professional and knowledgeable. He really took his time with us and was able to know what rugs ( design and colors) that would work best for our needs. We purchased two area rugs. Moses was kind enough to deliver them and helped me move furniture roll up the old ones and than layout the new ones and move furniture back. No extra charge. It was a pleasure doing business with him. Would highly recommend

Rug was delivered on time, and area was measured ,and rug with padding laid down perfectly. Moses could not have been more professional and kind. What a terrific place to buy rugs or even flooring, and such nice people who are so willing to help to get you what you want. It was getting closer to Thanksgiving and I really wanted the guest room ready for my son, daughter-in-law and baby grandson. I shopped all over
Orange County looking for carpet. I was very frustrated to say the least. Had trouble finding the right carpet. My other concern, especially with the big corporate stores was, that you just don't know who they are sending out to your home to install the carpet. Another thing I came across with them was the people that work in the flooring departments lack knowledge about carpeting. Most of the time there isn't even anyone to help you. The first time I visited The Rug Store, Hershel impressed me with his introduction, knowledge and concern with our deadline. I came back to the store with my husband. He made it so easy. He guided us to pick the perfect carpet. Love the quality, the color and the price. Hershel came to my home to measure the room. It was installed two days before the holiday by two of the most professional, polite, neat and obviously very experienced installers. My experience with The Rug Store is unforgettable, so much so that I was back there again the other day. This time shopping with my daughter. Again, Hershel makes it so easy. She chose a beautiful carpet for her room. This is my one and only store for all my flooring needs. Past, present and future. Trust me, I spent a lot of time shopping for the best. Moses and his installation team are absolutely wonderful people who you can tell care deeply about their jobs. Mr. Stern is extremely knowledgeable and has his passion shines through! Recently, my wife and I had the pleasure of buying new carpeting for our home from Hershel and his team at The Rug Store in Monroe, NY. He is a consummate professional and you can sense his willingness to accommodate your needs and wishes. He sold us a quality product, at a fair price, and made sure the factory was able to get it to us by the date promised.

He was able to maneuver the full home installation around our tight schedule and the delivery of furniture during that installation. The installers did an excellent with the installation. Perfect in every detail. It's rare for us to find a person who gives his word, makes it happen on time, while being a gentleman with a smile!

I am extremely happy with the carpet I had installed by The Rug Store! Service was excellent, Moses and Hershey were both extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in choosing the right carpet for me. They came out to measure immediately and had it installed within a week. The price was good and quality is great. The Rug Store has polite and professional salespeople. They are helpful. The quality of the merchandise is excellent and merchandise is delivered when scheduled. Delivery people were helpful and polite.

I had a very positive experience working with the father and son team of the Rug Store. They worked tirelessly with me until I was totally satisfied. Numerous visits to our home, several adjustments and modifications...all performed happily. They have a great selection, but the real value to me was the customer service and attention to detail. Several rooms of carpet, runners and rugs later, the end result is a beautifully dressed home. (By the way, their installers are top notch, kind and clean.) I would highly recommend this team to anyone.

We purchased carpet for 4 large bedrooms in our new home from The Rug Store, and I have to say it was the most stress free purchase we made. We were looking for a new rug for our family room and went to both Lowe's and Home Depot first in the hopes of finding something there. No luck. On a lark, we went into The Rug Store on Rt 17M. What a wonderful experience! Moses, the Owner, was very helpful and guided us to the perfect new rug for our room. He went so far as to let us leave with 2 sample rugs to see how they looked in the room. No deposit, no questions, just 'here, take these home and see what you think, then bring them back when you are done'. Who does this anymore? Who has so much trust and respect for their clientele? Almost no one. If you want personalized, professional service and excellent quality rugs at good prices, there is no other place to go but to The Rug Store.
